  1. If you are dead set on getting a pump opt for one with a changeable moisture/partical filter (hills pump is a good one) as pumps due to the mechanics tend to let moisture/particals into your gun which will do it no favours in the long run, that why people use bottles/guages as this is classed as "clean air" (no moisture or particals). Hope this helps Coney.
  2. Deker as these are quite old and without stripping it down you may whant to check the stats in the boiler it may be the heat stat is faulty and is cutting in before the boiler is reaching tempreture causing it to shut down (but this is purely a guess) I do know in the past this model has also had problems with the heat exchanger but to check this means a lot more work than checking the boiler/heat stat. Hope this helps Coney.

  7. A very useful tool, especially when lamping. Height depends on your height, whatever is comfortable. We use one (when lamping one of us shoots and the other lamps and works the dog) made of hazel topped off with a metal "U" cushioned with a bit of pipe lagging. its also useful to fit a foot spike and stopper to stop it sinking into the mud. You can also use two longer sticks tied 6" from the top with innertube rubber as a full height bipod. The down side of both these things is that you have to carry them! No fun trying to carry gun, lamp, battery pack, rabbits, shooting stick, dog le

  12. A good PCP entry level rifle would have to be the new AAS200 for around the £250 mark, as for a reasonably priced springer I would try to get hold of a second hand BSA tactical. Hope this helps Coney.
