I would take up "AIRGUNNER" (last post) up on his offer of a BSA Lightning as the Crossman Nightstalker is only capable of producing 7FT LB tops, I know it seems tempting owning a gun that is classed as semi-automatic complete with a x12 shot mag that is powered via a air-source bottle and retails brand new for £150 quid, but even Crossman describe the "Nightstalker" as "The Ultimate Back Garden Gun" this leads me to think of paper targets and tin cans and not rabbits or the like. I am sure you can buy a good 2nd hand springer for around the same price that will do the job nicely. Hope th

We try to do a bit of both but mainly stalk as the x3 lots of shooting rights me and the lads cover are quite vast and take a good x3hrs plus to cover on foot. There tends to be quite a variance of terrain on our shoots ( rivers, woodland, farmland, quarries and commercial land) so stalking suits me just fine, but sometimes a little patience tends to pay off with quarry sometimes creeping out for a quick look to see if we have gone especially on the commercial land. .22 for fur and .177 for feather, personally I always opt for .22 as I find the impact from a 16-20gr pellet in .22 will dispatch all legal air gun quarry up to 35yds no problems (at 12ftlbs), but like everthing else we all have our own personal preferances and opinions I am sure you will recieve both on this site. At the end of the day it's up to you, regardless you will recieve plenty of useful info about what ever you need to know as there are some very clever individuals on this site who will steer you in the right direction as they have with me.
