    just out of interest could you teach the dog to do the same to door to door salesmen,cold callers, johos,police,nosey old b*****ds,nosey, locals and anyone else thats been pissing me off lately .

    i once thought of a glen of immal terrier when i typed it in the search engine a breeder in europe came up, they fed the barf diet .dogs looked ok but i dont think they work.it pays to keep your eyes open when driving in rural backwaters i once went and bought a kelly kettle off someone deep in north dorset and one of the dogs to meet me at gate was a irish terrier.they said it was a good guard dog and i think it also deterred rats and fox from the poultry.alot of probs is the prices dogs fetch ,the fanciers paying inflated prices have pushed them out of reach of working dog men whos gonna pay

    right been back to vet the young lass started waffling on about £400 allergy tests and skin biopsy test.gave me cream even though i said it would be licked off.so i went for a second opinon.vet told me as skin and coat were perfect apart from where plucked it was behavioral.the dog is on anti anxietytabs and i took collar off and now muzzel it when not around.now i will be able to exercise it .tire it out and fingers x it will stop doing it .thanks for all advice and support.

    wasnt there articles in countrymans weekly on someone in uk bushing with these.my mum cleans for some hoohrah henrys that have an old farmhouse.they had a mother and daughter wirehaired dachshund.and the mother used to enter the warren in their paddock and bring back rabbits.normally half eaten.[self hunting].good guard dogs too.but they lost pups when whelping and they suffer from heridtry probs.is it dysplacia?.sorry for poor spelling.

    in my youth i had a old ammo box it was heavy and clanged against gates.go for a sealed battery with canvas pack so no acid spillage to rot it out.

    i dont know anything about lazerlites but get the biggest ampage battery you can it will last longer and take being rundown better.its like car batteries when you replace it pays to buy heavyduty if keeping the car .i always buy a diesel battery [heavy ampage].for my landies.i am getting lightforce when i get ariound to it im only getting the 140 as i dont want to bright a beam but will still get 17ah battery to run it .look in countrymans weekly i priced it up between 2 for the cheapest i think they were arthur carter and either ian hodge or johnsons.

    ferrets like a polecat are rats natural predator sight and smell will make them vanish or keep a low profile.

    years ago someone that was into the good life had a labradoodle. lab/standard poodle.it looked like the sort of shaggy mongrel you see in 70,s pictures.was good marker and worked to nets.i see while ago .there was a breeder advertising on epupz that specialized in this cross but were asking 750pounds :11:definetly priced out of working market.

    i agree do not trust again. terriers are prone for bringing out the nastiness in bigger dogs trust me i know.what age/sex are the two.have you had them long.hope its pulling through bet the vets are charging top whack for xmas time.

    yeah he has good ideas but would you eat from a bloke that cooked and ate his wifes after birth when i lived in dorset i worked with wife of the gardener of neighbouring property.and hugh was only there to film, someone else fed stock.i remember the lightweight landrover being for sale in adtrader for about 1700quid.after they had finished filming. :11:

    treat it like chicken use it in curry.i had a receipe that was a curry and used a tin of pineapple it was best i ever tasted but lost it when i split with first missus.if you want to fool kids even more soak meat in milk it should bleach it white so it looks like supermarket chicken.

    i use tp covers from country stores/agricultral depots.and did swear by them until we had builders in so shut the terrier pup in the landy and the little bitch clawed them to shreds the day the shop i brought them from closed down. :realmad:

    hi,bracken boy had thought about 2nd vet but others around here get slagged off alot. plus other vets dont like taking customers from each other its like they have a secret code.i will go farther afield.

    why i suggested putting it down is the dogs going to do its self damage continually biting itself.in the summer it may get fly strike/maggot infested.when the boy or anyone else tries to stop it it gets aggressive towards us.the vets cant seem to help im not bothered about appearence as i have a dog that will urinate over its self.im not a coin counter .or one to put a dog down just to avoid bills.dogs are fed several times a day,ive spent double on vets bill than cost of dog but still have it.and the rotweiller in gallery has last year had emergency spay,shrink treatment and hormone replaceme

    jab was antibiotic and lotion is marked hibiscrub purple in colour.

    My terrier started chasing its tail in circles amusing at first. But one day missus noticed bald patch so off to vets i go. vet said flea allergy gave jab to stop itching and lotion to heal it. Week later dog had pulled coat out on hip area and had coughed up hairball.so back to vet ended up with lampshade collar.dog still chasing tail can still bite it.has now pulled out new growth and made it bleed.what can i do.dogs going to end up bald and stupid looking and im fed up with going to vets.plus i think its turning into a behavioral problem.if it was up to me i would put it down but technicall

    i find dogs harder around house/kennel.i will only have 1 male on my property.bitches pack better together dont fight so much apart from terriers. but i find bitches a pain when in season whining and trying to escape.but all my male dogs i have had always want to fight all the time.but this has come in handy when someone tried to entice my dog away from me with another dog. :realmad: as for working they either try or dont no matter what sex.

    hi,i been studying lightforce prices looked at lots of hunting shops ,countrymans weekly etc.your right arthur carter is cheapest. gonna be ordering the smallest kit.as i dont want to bright a light/beam. nigel.

    make sure its wormed.deflead,try meat and james wellbeloved/ardengrange puppy food.feed it as much as it can eat 6/8 times a day.dont stint on rearing it you can always use a cheaper food mixed with butchers waste /household scraps when adult.if your not working them hard.
