The red can't be dominant, it must be needed on both sides.
There has been another litter of plummer x's born recently to a patterdale (not mine) and all the pups are either black or black & white.
Docked for me, if there was a choice. Dont think i could get used to an undocked terrier, apart from the dangers of it getting injured, ratting and bushing in tight spaces.
Just wanted to say that the picture arrived today and I am chuffed to bits with it It is stunning, you have totally captured the movement and speed with which it took place and it took me right back to the day I took the photograph the picture was based on.
Can't wait to hang it on the wall - thats if I can find a space big enough!
Been ratting with one, but not seen her bushing. Temperament-wise she was much fierier than the plummers, quite possessive over rats/marks, but very good at ratting. With her dam in the top pic
Which part of Bishop did it go missing?
There have been a lot of travellers setting up camp on their way back from Appleby for the last week or so. As has been said a picture would be useful.
Mine are used for ferreting the bits that are impossible to do with the lurchers - a lot of our ferreting is in woodland, some of it on very steep inclines which is totally unsuitable for lurchers. Totally different to ferreting with lurchers, but it serves its purpose now and then.
