  2. Is there any sign of fresh digging activity from the holes in which the traps were sprung .We used to get a fair few traps sprung by this .You have to trap a hole warren or stop some of it ,so the chance of a couple of traps being filled with soil is fairly high .Try the trap at arms length?
  3. On the legal side of breeding tame coloured rats --no problem, but the law frowns on purposely breeding the wild variety.

Treading carefully here or perhaps not -no feck it ,lets go for it -----------Terriers of the sort kept by digging lads are a pain to walk off lead anywhere and the thought of bushing more than one in thick cover makes me cringe .The reason being _Holes and the chance of more than one terrier to ground .If you train the terriers to stay out of holes ,quite easy with some , then I suppose a pack of borders or plummers would do . Far better to use a purpose bred dog for the biz and that is the springer spaniel with the added bonus that its not going to fire into your lurcher for catching hi

Open tickets are generally granted as a matter of course after the first 5 years .Closed tickets as you call them limit you to the land you first submitted on the form .This land is known as "core" land and is the only place you can legally zero your rifle .Open tickets do not give you access to just anywhere with the firearm .You are allowed to verify that a piece of land is in your opinion,fit for a particular calibre but this can and has been disputed by firearms officers ,should they be called in .The best policy is to contact your firearms dept' and ask about a given piece of land and th

I bought and paid for a 25yd stop net and cradle at the midland several years ago ,left it with him till I wanted to leave but on my return he never had any left ?.We exchanged words, it got heated and Brinded reached in his pouch for the refund .The wad of notes that he drew out was never counted but lets just say ...........I never lost out .
