    My introduction to running dogs was an ex track greyhound found jointly by me and my mate out with airguns .It was a power house of explosive speed and hunting ability that had lead dormant in the hands of track lads . We never trained it ,never gave it a name but by feck it put some gear to bed .That grey covered a lurcher of breeding unknown and there it was .

    Nothing to do with the thread but I was on the foot and mouth clear up team camped at Over in Gloucester .After we had burnt the dead gear from the surrounding farms they brought us several wildebeest from a collection nearby with decent racks .I wanted one but never found the moment to extricate said rack .We we’re also brought a wagon load of bison from a place near there that had been slaughtered . The wagon was all taped up and covered in sheeting .When they tipped them in our makeshift bale yard I realised why ! The corpses were rotten and had been in that wagon for 3 weeks due

    That’s the thing there mate ,If we are to believe there’s a breeding population out there there had to of been multiple releases around the same time that evaded capture ,don’t film properly ever and have cubs in such remote areas of urbanisation that they are never found . Apparently there are far more sightings around habitat than rural areas .Iffy when every shooter nowadays has thermal imaging .
