In that case my next outcross might be one of your beddies Mort as it seems like you've cracked it .Fair play to you where others are struggling .I'll get your number off some of the lads up your way because with mutts as good as that ,they will know you .Speak soon . -
Drove to one of my favourite spots yesterday evening for a stalk with George , my son. Got there at roughly 8 so a slow walk round the boundary . Saw a doe in some long hay grass about 40 m from us and she clocked us same time . We waited for her to calm which she did and spotted a buck same field further out , way further . No way we were getting past the doe but she obliged by going through the hedge into another field . Stalked the buck but he too went through the hedge . Back tracked to the other field and spotted the buck half way out in some dandelion stalks . George carefully close

Would of left him to rut had he not been near the road where a buck is killed nearly every year.

Our usual dog walk takes me to a farm where there are no earths in use and I take the thermal spotter just to be on the safe side to get terriers back should there be a badger afoot . I’ve recently seen a roe buck setting up territory near a road and spotted him same place , same time for 4 days running but at night . Yesterday evening myself and my son made plans to intercept him as he did his rounds from a nearby silage field .When we got there the field was just cut but the buck was up and narking ground . . We had a long crawl through the swaffs to a fence then a ditch that runs down the f

Trail cams are mint these days with superb night vision .Strange that as said ,the only pics taken are unidentifiable when pics of snow leopards are crisp and clear as well as jungle cars, one of the rarist in the world .Even a small section of cat would be proof to me as cats coats are unmistakable being of a sheen not seen on other animals .

Mate ,you need to set the privacy on your photobucket account. -
All black dogs arnt made the same either and those that do show the dog aggression need plenty of work to keep them sane .Nowadays I won' t tolerate it but dont mean I wouldn't keep one , years ago i had no choice and lived with it putting the work into them to keep the peace .Black dogs are different I don't care what anyone says and is the reason why i keep them .They are quick to fire up as anyone who has seen a sudden change in a pack will attest to .Ie a dog missing or a new member .Those that run a large pack free take for granted they are good dog men and have control even though i

No disrespect intended mate but all that dog needed was work and plenty of it .Had the same for years with the Wheeler dog and his direct offspring but working them hard steadied all that .Im' not condoning dog aggression but it can be channelled to make it liveable .If I'd pts everything like that I'd have nothing now .A tired dog got no interest in anything but sleep .

It's Yanny all day long .Sort yourselves out.

Can we reinstate the seperate forum for bushers and Morton . Without the internet I wouldn't have travelled no where near as much as I have through lads on here and other forums .Wouldn't have placed as many pups ,wouldn't have seen those pups grow into workers .Met some less than desirables mind but the good side far outweighed the bad points .Getting stuck in a bubble thinking your own terriers are world beaters is what does your breeding no good .Different lads different standards, different ground ,a change of soil is what all makes for terriers to be proud of .As said the internet h
