  7. Year ago me da who was a keeper would often get fallen sheep, dig a hole, then go back a few weeks later and dig part of it up feed the dogs, all working dogs, never ill, no vets, so it speaks for itself. Before anyone starts getting funny and saying why bury it, maybe because there was no electric then. So Dev, yes, but these dogs also had the majority of game to eat as well. ok thanks, i just wondered cause i know a man who sells meat for dogs, he has a knackery, but the sheep that are brought to his yard he doesnt use them.and i wondered why.he just uses the cattle.
  8. can anyone tell me is mutton any good as feeding for dogs?
  9. nuttall used border blood in his terriers so it could well be a throw back to that
  10. seperation is the only cure imo when they fall out terriers are c*nts, have you no space in the back garden for a kennell and a bit of a run?
  11. So you dont dig because a fox is a pest or vermin the same as a rat?? I totally disagree and class my terriers as working as they are doing a pest control job for a farmer, And not all dogs will kill a rat seen a few which run the other way. The only people on here that will agree with you are the ones who think the same because they only use there dogs on fox!!! the only people that agree with you are people who want to call there sporting terriers workers cause they dont have any workers.
  12. one i had 2 seasons ago, got a fair bit of digging out of him
  13. why would a keeper not be pleased if the terrier killed the fox?? cant understand that statement! a dead fox is a dead fox,and thats what keepers want is it not?
  14. finally words of wisdom they would be from 1 paddy to another! WANKER
  15. take it you have a lurcher?? ever jack does it?? if its coursing ang its quarry runs into cover, like bramble, will your dog pull up?? a bolter is a bolter i dont have a lurcher. i agree with you tho, a bolter is a bolter, but not a worker look im never going to convince you and your never going to convince me so thats it. at the end of the day ts all about personal opinion. the bitch is obviously very good for your job so thats great, and good luck with her.
  16. i have to agree with winnie, you can not compare a ferret to a working terrier, i also think that a bolting terrier is not a working terrier, a handy tool for some people yes there is no doubt, but there is something lacking in a dog that wont stay untill dug, therefore the it doesnt deserve the title WORKING TERRIER, but thats just my opinion. like it or not.
  17. f**k sake these c**ts cant keep getting away with this shit!!!!!! hope ya get them back mate, if i hear of any dogs for sale etc i'll give ya a shout
