  1. I don't think skin & bone are that flammable mate.

That's what I think it's of those two, definitely going auto with the next car, once you've tried it you don't want to go back.
  3. You might as well all pack at it in.

I was always wanting to get a 330 or 550d but is there any point in this day & age? Think it's going to be a SUV, I could stay with the VAG group but is there any better or as good, Volvo have got to be up there?
  5. Remains to be seen, been in the garage two days, went to pick it up, as soon as I started it the coolant warning light came on, opened the bonnet and it was empty. Told them the crack and gave me the line that it must have gone low when doing the testing. They topped it up and I went on my way, doesn't sound right, we shall see tomorrow.
  6. I'll run his land to get them fit before the proper season starts, already got some perm lined up.
  7. I've tried taking sense to him but it's in one ear and straight out the other. He's got his GPS collars linked up to Starlink FFS, have a word with him will you.
  8. No wonder you won't let yours off the lead mate, you've got to have a bit of patience Bangers lad or else you'll ruin em. When you get ya next pup mC will show you, you have to get feral with em.
  9. Bangers will have an angina attack reading this.
  10. Now you tell me lol. You northern monkeys can't handle a good feed, I expected it to be having four meals a day.
  11. It is a faff, again, this morning he gulped his food down, half a pound of mince, couple of hours ago tried him with the rest of the sleeve and he wouldn't touch, gave him a raw egg cos he lapped it up yesterday and didn't bother. To mess about like this you really need a separate fridge/freezer because handling raw meat, then chucking it back in a dish and back in your fridge you're going to contaminate it sooner or later. Lol
  12. Come on Bangers, you've never walked your dog off the slip? I'm telling ya you'll have missed out on some runs in your time. Now with a thermal you're laughing, nothing will be able to escape your eyes, but back in the day you'd be surprised what a dog will knock up what you've missed.
  13. Seen an image of the shooter, don't think he's of the right shade to warrant mentioning it on here? Lol
  14. Wasn't the water pump, it was the thermostat that wasn't opening.
  15. It's just flat open land, no challenge at all really. Lol
  16. They aren't daft, if they are off the slip and you spot something they haven't seen and try and quietly call them so you can grab em by the collar and point them in the direction their ears automatically perk up and they start scouting the land cos they know you've spotted something lol.
  17. That's what he'll be on, he scoffed the beef & tripe mix the first day I brought him back. They are 1lb tubes and he would have wolfed it down in one sitting, he was trying to pull it out my hand when putting it in the dish, gave him an egg yesterday and he lapped it up, he wasn't keen on tuna mind.
  18. I know, when I say ferret, I mean bolted to the dogs, I've never needed droppers.
  19. Sadly I couldn't make the show but the after-party was great. Nice meeting Tomo for the first time. Dean Colfax (@hdeanc27) • Instagram reel WWW.INSTAGRAM.COM 533 likes, 55 comments - hdeanc27 on June 16, 2025: "Even then people who work there like to have fun.".
  20. Get yourself a pup then if you have a clear record, that's at least one tug where you can act like you didn't know better. Lol
  21. Closest I've been there is up near Langsett, caught a few mountain hares.
  22. I suppose now the way the game is walking with the dog off the slip hunting up is out of the question, as I walking up and down the fields, as it's been said on here, stick to the edges with a thermal and Bob's your uncle.
  23. Fingers crossed I can find some permission, I know a few poachers turned keepers who have loads of shooting land. If you keep the land owners sweet I should be ok for a bash.
  24. If it does see a rabbit it won't be November until I'd even consider, my last 3/4 collie/greyhound was catching them at 6 or 7 months but in no rush, what's the point.
  25. We don't know with thee. Lol
