The 2-3% is not how much we are related to the Neanderthal, we share about 99.7% of our DNA with them, and around 98% with the Chimpanzee, we are much more closely related to the Neanderthal which is obvious. It's not that we are 2-3% similar to them, it's that 2-3% of your DNA came directly from them through interbreeding. It's like this, you have 3 billion pairs in your DNA. 99.9% of all your DNA is identical to everyone on earth, that includes the Big Scandinavian, the little Jap, the Spear Chucker from the Serengeti, etc. What makes you unique is that 0.1%. So, you'll see how muc

As I know fully well, a few wrong life choices can be curtains for your wealth, I know the hard way. I have a decent payed job, but, with all the bills, mortgage, CSA, etc, and with the Mrs only working part-time, we are just ticking over, we can't really save a substantial amount of money. My kids won't go without and that's all that really matters. The older generation had it easier, no doubt about that. 25 year ago my parents bought a 4 bedroom new build for around 83-86k, what's that today, around 140-145k? You'll get a terrace or a run down semi for that these days.

My lurcher got tangled by the shoulder but it was barbed wire and one of the barbs went deep in to the muscle. I was at a loss with what to do as I was about a mile and half from my grandmother's, he could barely touch the floor with his back legs, I couldn't free him so told him to stay so I could fetch some snips, I'd walked a few yards and then heard a big snap, he'd torn himself away which left a right tear on his shoulder and a fair bit of damage to his muscle.

Mate, you can't see the wood for the trees, you can't grasp it, our DNA is around 99.7% identical to Neanderthals, I can't be arsed to go in to details, read up on it, I'm getting ready for work. Lol

Yeah, ancestry, not genetically. When our ancestors bred with Neanderthals, the Neanderthal DNA was rejected, have a guess why? It's because we had been isolated for half a million years when they separated from our ancestors. So, we were still genetically close enough to breed and produce offspring, but there was selection to remove the Neanderthal ancestry.

Not really considering we only have about 2-3% of their DNA.

It's mind blowing to think that modern humans from regions outside of Africa may be 10-20% Neanderthal.
-
Shave and a trim and Francie would never know!
-
They are humans, but they aren't modern humans, homosapiens! Now here's something that is relatively new and very surprising. The genomes of non-Africans, that's me, you & most on here, contains around 2-3% Neanderthal DNA, a new study cites that in reality our ancestry is about 10-20% Neanderthal, mind-blowing eh?
-
No, variation would be minute, like it would be in most individuals, even those pygmies would have the same skeletal characteristics of modern humans, Neanderthals clearly have a difference skeletal structure, what have you got for eyes? Look at the massive skull, the prominent brow, massive nasal cavities, massive wide hips, thick and massive bone structure. Skin Mike Tyson and he still wouldn't look that that!

Cracking views from the back garden mate, let dog out for an empty? Lol
-
So you are claiming Neanderthals are just human, you do know that there's even more archaic humans that were wandering earth before the Neanderthal? But ok, so they are exactly the same as homosapiens, where are they now then? Or are you saying that we evolved quite drastically from them within the space of 6000 years?

Weren't you middleweight champ of the world, Stan?

What evidence is that? How is it best to keep her inside if there's legitimate doubt as to wether those babies were murdered or not? Questions definitely need answering, perhaps it was a trial by jury who were not given the exact facts but rather conclusions that the prosecution had come to. Of course, introducing reasonable doubt doesn't mean she is not a murderer. Surely this new breakthrough calls for a retrial?

None are my real name you know.

Ripped the bumper off but the cnut drove off, I didn't see the impact I was a field away. Lol

Hahahaha I tried killing him a few months back on the dual carriageway, got splattered by a van at 50 and still no joy!

Don't fancy the akita trying to hang out the back of it every time it breaks down. Lol

We all jumped on the bandwagon, trial by media, perhaps she is not guilty of murder after all? An expert panel found no evidence of murder, just natural death and poor medical care, I think she deserves a retrial? Lucy Letby: Defence calls for miscarriage of justice investigation as medics give alternative causes of death NEWS.SKY.COM The panel laid out alternative causes of death in many of the cases, including natural causes and poor medical care.

Seen a nice looking litter on the web, all the dogs have gone though, only 5 bitches left.

Yeah, steady money and a mortgage to pay and a family to provide for. I actually took a pay cut to secure this job I took in the summer as I am guaranteed to never work away from home again. I wrongly assumed the amount of night shifts wouldn't effect me but they're no good. No mate, far from comfortable, I spunked my life savings on a witch and so when I me our lass and was ready to settle I had feck all savings and had to get 95% mortgage at 30 odd year old, you live and you learn. Lol

I've got dark hair but i started seeing the odd ginger hair in my beard only, thankfully they have now been replaced with greys.

Most lads love nights, everything is better on nights, less traffic, no gaffers about, job & knock, but my body just doesn't agree with it. I'd love nights if I could kip on them lol, and whoever said you don't need kip is a lying c**t. I don't sleep the best when I'm on days but nights just throws your whole body out of sync. I've been on the railway over 20 years, started at 18, it's all I really know, I had a year out and went scaffolding with a mate but that's it. I've always been a grafter mate, if anyone knows about working on the track they will know it can involve serious donkey wo
