And what do people class as getting by, again, if you're classing going out socialising with the mates, going abroad once a year, away in the caravan on bank holidays as rich, then yes he's mega rich. What is doing well for yourself? He would have earned much more than that because he did a few private jobs as well. He's doing well as in he gets away once or twice a year, and are out most weekends, but they are far from flash, you wouldn't be driving a clapped out Monday if you were rolling in it.

No, not rich, far from it, driving around in a 8 year old Mondeo and lives in a mid-terrace. Of course it's all relative, he's not having to go to a foodbank.

He works for a Barnsley firm mate even though he's self-employed. He never misses a day, he has, they don't get sick money. He puts the graft in on price work but as I said, he isn't wealthy, he's in a mid-terrace small, poxy bedrooms, he can't afford to move in to a 250k house, you know what women are like, they treat money like it's made of hot coal, they want rid as soon as it's in the pocket. Lol

It's a load of bollocks, lads don't want graft. My brother is a bricklayer and did 75k through the books last year and that's without his private jobs on the side. He's far from wealthy, his kids don't want for nothing but he's not rich by any means, there's people much worse off and much better off.

I'm not sure I fully agree with that, around 25 year ago, the time when they bought their second home, which was their new build. House prices have skyrocketed since 2000 and wages have not risen anywhere near as much in 25 years. The cost of living has outpaced wage growth massively?
