    I was talking to a mate of mine last night about this... neither of us could work out EXACTLY why you want to 'toughen up' your dog??? Perhaps you could throw some light on your reasons why. Is it mearly a 'macho' thing or do you think your dog will really fail when it matures? Or are there some concerns with regard of breeding? The best dog (generic) i ever owned, with out a doubt, was a little black 'lakie' type bith. Kind as a christian and quiet as a church mouse in carpet slippers, but she NEVER let me down. No aggression in the kennel or towards other dogs but a true and honest grafte
