Yes mate. N.S. did his 'apprenticeship' with G.W. as a young man 40 odd years ago. When Wardy packed up N.S. carried on with his line. I've kept, bred, worked and shown this line and got no complaints. Some can be a little slower to start than others but if the truth be told that is the case of any 'line'

Trout and Grayling on a river you want a 3-4# 7' rod WF4 or DT4 line (DT will give you a better presentation) 6' ish 4lb leader and flies to suit the time of year and hatch.... All depanding on the river you will fish IMO

Prime was by Ward's Piper and Penny.. Piper was by Tank and Vandal (Wards), Penny was by N.S. Tank and N.S. Tess. I'll ask the man how Rusty was bred Never saw Prime, but Rusty was a loon ... In her later days she produced a cracking litter of pup's then ate them .. Her next litter she was muzzeled to feed them and taken off to feed herself. She was one of the finest lakies around and was PTS at the back end of last year. There is still stuff around out of rusty (if you know where to look )
