Sorry for not getting back to ye lads but the net is down here at the minute so using someone elses connection. i am using a tikka M595 s/s .243. leupold 6.5x20 LR/T M1. arcpest, i also use the lightforce range of lance and striker the striker was used on this night, i'm not here to shit ye lads but i've been practising for years to get out to these ranges. i practise by shooting clays with the rifle at set distances out to about 450 yards though i don't think i'll reach this range at night. i'm always over cautious with long range shots. but i had a large hill for a backstop leading to

  10. Hi arcpest, Whats the grouping like on your Tikka at 100 mts? I've got a Tikka T3 Lite s/s 1-8 and so far i can't get it to group at 100 mts looks more like i've used a shotgun!! I'm going to try some 75 grain ammo to see if i get on any better (69 brain Sierra's aren't doing it). Well done on the foxes shame about the rabbit, you got him in the end thats why i am a member of headley park rifle and pistol club because when im going out lamping if im not sure its ok i go down the club and check/re-zero if needed i use a 10-22 semi auto 50m usualy under 15mm groups plus i can go anytime during the day arcpest

  15. lol do you think they would buy that? its a great gun the one i fired i aimed pulled the trigger and BANG well loud settled and i spotted mr fox about 6 feet from where i first hit him dead and mangled arcpest

  17. Hi all I am going to go for a bigger rifle this year for deer & fox I am thinking of a 7mm REM MAG as I shot a fox last year with My friends gun it was amazing I want his gun it was a ruger Does anyone see any problems with me applying for a 7mm REM MAG arcpest

  20. I will do chap as im target shooting with mine as well ill let you know how it is at 600m as for foxes ill probably zero at 100m as its less than an inch between 50 to 150 and we can usualy get within this range to our quarry arcpest
  21. i fancy one of those on my .222 when i get it. they come recommended from a few people i know who also use them for foxes. they are £179 on litt's website. this is where ill probably get my rimfire so ill buy a scope there the same time and i usually get a good price if you buy a few things at a time. thanks ss06 My mind is made up im getting one all i have to decide now is do i get an Illuminated one or not! arcpest
