    There is no right or wrong way of doing it as long as the method chosen is legal. I very often run mine into a Kania 2000 trap if I have a spare in the van, no hassle, blood and very quick every time. The squirrel runs straight into the Kania without hesitation. Some people may not like it but it works for me.

    Matt was right about the fenn needing a tunnel, thats what they were designed for. The trap as it goes of jumps and with the tunnel above it traps the squirrel just right otherwise it can push it up away from the jaws. Don't use fenns now just bodygrips and kanias - no miss catches! Its not slating its constructive criticism

    Its worth mentioning that it is only the BMI 55, 110, 116 bodygrips and the Victor Conibear 120-2 that are on the springs trap approval and there for legal to use.

    They break on the weld on the first couple of firings ,the pictures on the post about mesh covers look like cheap crappos. The bodygrips in the mesh tunnel post are BMI's and Victor Conibears not cheap crap.
