  4. rabbit hunter, she was very good hard bitch, to be honest i am glad i had the sence to breed off her, her working style was in an lock on the quarry, years of top class breeding behind her........have to laught some times to myself when i come on this forum and lads give advise dont breed till she has so many working seasons behind them, you do what your heart tells you........or you could end up with years of breeding gone for good........ At least you got some thing from her mate , what dog did you use over her?
  5. Sorry to hear that mate, I know the feeling... , p***y that looked a hard bitch...
  6. Cheers for that B.Q and Diggory, like you said I try to be honest with my dogs ( terriers and lurchers), it's the best way IMO, like I've said and never hid the fact...the dog had his faults but like Stevolad has also said if you put the dog in an occupied earth then you were getting your quarry with the dog . Stevolad, in regards to getting a pup from the same breeding I'm not sure, I like the build of the dogs, they are good strong things and can hold difficult quarry also they're rock steady with other dogs which is another good thing, but a bad point was like has been said the false marki
  7. It has probably got dilution Alpoecia Do you know whether it's treatable mate?
  8. I think he was the only dog in the litter that made the grade mate? Does the lad still have the sire?

  12. no, he was too young to be bred off...he wasn't a world beater but if there was game to be had then you were getting it with this dog, he had a relatively easy season last year but I piled the work on this season and he took to it well...his best years were still ahead of him I think but it's just one of them things...
