  1. Personally I'd want a dog that's intelligent, not retarded so I'd stay away from a bullX. Does anyone know what wheaton terriers are like intelligence wise?
  2. You have a good looking dog mate, whats his coat like?
  3. Do you think a 3/4 cross would be better?
  4. If you wanted something with a good rough coat what blood would you introduce? I know beddy/whippets can have a coat a bit on the thin side, would crossing a whippet with a wheaton or bearded collie be a good mix?
  5. As it says above, just give us your views. Many thanks
  6. Does anyone know a good breader of working teckels?
  7. I’ve only used 17g rounds to data and can’t see the point in changing, is there much difference with the 20g? It took me ages to find a round that my rifle (cz452) likes, I started out on CCI hollow points but they smashed things to bits and the groupings were all over the place. I then moved onto Remington ballistic tip but the groups were once again rubbish, I’m now using the Winchester ballistic tips and my rifle fecking loves them, my groups are now tighter than a ducks arse and meat damage is minimal.
  8. Vincy, It’s not the spelling that’s the issue hear it’s the total lack of knowledge and the terminology that’s making people suspicious, I know I am . Also Deker is one of the most active users on this forum and knows his stuff when it comes to shooting and has no problem with helping people out, I’ve asked him questions before in the past and he’s been glad answer them. We are all within our rights to question the credibility of users we’re not sure about. By giving them a grilling it tends to put them off posting topics, thus we don’t get hundreds of stupid posts
  9. Is moly coating just done to centrefire rifles?
  10. Does the .22 have a free floating barrel?
  11. Well if you read the origonal post you will see in brackets the poster said he didnt know what else to call it, so the replys were taylored to that, yes i do know what its called , i have one myself Appologies for not using the correct terimology but the basic advice was seek a vet & thats all that matters at the end of the day did realise that kay, and Im sure you have a very nice lady garden was just pointing out the need for new owners to prehaps read up on their intended pet/worker before rushing out and buying Stubby, If your suggesting that I did no researc
  12. Baldie You don't think leaving oil inside the barrel before firing is a good idea then? What the fudge are Savage arms and Precision Shooting Magazine playing at then, they could get someone killed I won't be doing that in the future I want all my fingers Thanks mush
  13. Been down the vets this morning she's had a shot of antibiotics and he said I should get her spade so she's going in tomorrow to have it done. Thanks for the help everyone
  14. Don't think so, one bloke on a forum I was on did a barrel break-in procedure everytime he got a second gun. By the way everyone the barrel break-In procedure I have posted, I think is for rimfire rifles.
  15. Thanks kay, I was waiting for you to reply
  16. Anyone else got any ideas?
  17. I just got my jill out the cage and she is leaking what looks like shot from her lady part (didn't know what else to call it) it also looks a little swollen. This is my first jill and I know it's getting close to the time they start coming into season so it could be normal, if anyone could help me out that would be great otherwise it's a trip to they vets in the morning.
  18. When I got my CZ .17HMR at the end of last year the gun dealer I got it off said nothing about barrel break-in so I started using it straight away after about 200 rounds in the groupings were still all over the place so I looked online for a answer. I read about "breaking in a barrel" on one of the sniper forums on the net and gave it a go as what harm could it do, the one I did is recommended by precision shooting magazine and it did the trick. I'm now getting 3/4 inch groupings at 100 yard. I would recommend no matter what cal. your rifle is do a break-in procedure that suits you. B
  19. Does anyone know a shop online that sells the ase utra rimfire?
  20. Just wondering what mods you lot have on your .17HMR (if you have one), how well they work and which are the best. I currently have a SAK but don't think it's going to last long, the first three chambers that the round passes through are starting to melt
  21. I didn't think it was right so I rang Jackson rifles this afternoon, I said my mate told me to get a T8 for my .17hrm and it would take the crack out of the shot. I said to them that I thought it was a bit over the top and that my Sak does the job anyway, so I asked the fella what would happen if I did put one on and would I notice a difference in the noise. He said that under no circumstances should I fit one to my gun for three reasons: 1. They are not made for rimfire rifles 2. It wouldn’t be any quieter 3. Due to not being able to clean it properly or well enough you will get a buil
