  1. This should give you an idea of the height with the fully out
  2. DS, Don't listern to this numpty he doesn't know what he's no about The swivel bipods legs are not fixed ridged they have some side to side movement, so if you were shooting on uneven ground you can still try and keep the crosshairs level. I've taken you some pics of mine on my CZ 452 hope this helps. Harris Bipod LMS
  3. Apollo, Where abouts in South Wales are you?
  4. I've not had any trouble when dealing with Dyfed/Powys Police, and the fireams officer in my area is one of the soundest blokes i've met, however it did take around 4/5 months for my shotgun and firearms certificates to come through.
  5. Get yourself limewire you can download it for free from http://www.limewire.com Then using it search for 'Predator calls' Hope this help, don't say I never give you lot anything
  6. In the last 5mins I've just managed to get myself a sh*t load for nothing, happy days :D
  7. No mate got her for a bloke in Kilgetty, did you go out JJ and his boy in the end?
  8. Bit late in the year for kits isn't it?
  9. This is Han, the ferret in question. She's a good little thing
  10. The only time I would consider putting a muzzle on a ferret would be when applying medicine to sensitive area, mine had ear mites once and didn't like the drops in the ears, it never bite me but you don't how one could react.
  11. She's not a biter in that sence, I know what thats like. I used to have two ferrets her sister would bite hard and not let go, one day she bite my thumb bad as I was putting a dish of food in the cage it fecking hurt and blead like a pig need less to say she's no longer with us. When she bites me there's no force behind it and you can tell it's only play by the way she's bouncing around so i not bothered if it's normal. As for the brother in law maybe she doesn't like him or she can pick that he's nervous, I thinks it's funny watching her chase him round our kitchen. Maybe it's my
  12. Glad to know it's normal it's my first ferret and i'm still learning. It's a smart little thing but that does have it's down side, she's just discovered that she can climb up the outside of my trousers. stubby, its funny you should say about your ferret taking chunks out the other halfs hand, mine wouldn't let go of the brother in laws finger not so long ago she also claimed a small of bit skin as her's last week. thanks everyone for the advice
  13. I've got a jill who loves to play bite my hand it doesn't hurt at all and I think it's partly my fault because of how a used to play fight with her but it's starting to get on my tits, she's not a year old yet and i'm assuming like any you animal she will grow out of it as she get older. Am I right in thinking she will grow out of it or is there something I can do to stop it?
  14. I wish someone would release a load down where I live in wales could go hunting them then, I'd be like a pig in sh*t.
  15. Not sure on that one mate there is a thread for a mounting on the handle, so you could buy a kit to mount a hand held lamp to the roof. A word of warning don't get a hoppes bore guide for the cz, it doesn't fix.
  16. The cleaning rod, bore brush and jag are only for a .17 cal gun, however if I was then to get another gun lets say a 222 I would have need the same kit just in 222. The other stuff on my list could be used for any cal. gun you wanted. I just got a new lamp it's a 100watt nite stalker +700m, got it from Litts in Newport on my way back home for scotland. I went in to get a lightforce but the sound bloke who served me recomended that I go for the nite stalker he said thier of better quality than the lightforce. I think because lightforce are a well known you think their the best but you end
  17. Online the stuff from Deben came to £35.27 plus postage of £6.50 (not cheap I know but had christmas money burning a hole in my pocket), but went it came the postage on the invoice came to £9 something so look out. Everything from Midwayuk came to £66.15 including postage You can get the stuff cheaper elsewhere if you don't mind ordering everything seperately, but I wanted to find one site/shop that sold everything I wanted but I couldn't, so this was the next best thing. How you finding the 452?
  18. I had a boresnake but after reading posts on rimfirecentre.com it put me off using it, quite a few people on there had got them stuck in the barrel So after reading a post that recomended you pick out the brush from inside the boresnake I decided to do that, its still a bitch to pull through but I don't worry about it snapping anymore. After looking around for a good cleaning kit for ages and not finding one, I decided to make one up myself just getting everything seperately. I'm waiting for my last order to come this week but below is everything I ordered: Hoppes Elite gun cleaner
  19. Steve Leave it alone mate don't start messing with it, I did and it broke it then cost me £ 32 for a new one If your willing to take that chance, and having to fork out £32 just go and order yourself a new one. That way you won't be stuck without a mag went it breaks and you can enjoy the benefits of having 10 to hand.
  20. Check out the web link below its for a company that stock Accuracy international rifles. http://www.sportingservices.co.uk/accuracy.asp I love the look of AC rifles but don't know how well it go down if I turned up to go stalking with one.
  21. For those that don't know him, Major General Peter Cosgrove is an "Australian treasure!" General Cosgrove was interviewed on the radio recently. You'll love his reply to the lady who interviewed him concerning guns and children. Regardless of how you feel about gun laws you gotta love this! This is one of the best comeback lines of all time. It is a portion of an ABC interview between a female broadcaster and General Cosgrove who was about to sponsor a Boy Scout Troop visiting his military headquarters. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: So, General Cosgrove, what things are you going to teach t
  22. Last night I managed to break the magazine follower for my 452 Does anyone know where I could get a spare follower from, or know of good a price for a new mag? Cheers
  23. Mate, if you don’t get much luck through this site try going to www.rimfirecentral.com and becoming a member of the forum, I’d used this it to researching glass/pillar bedding my CZ 452 and found loads on the subject. Every other day someone posts something about shortening a barrel so I’d highly recommend it. Hope this helps
