  1. Chances are Mark those TX's weren't straight out of the box ? Aye i know that Davy but was trying to tilt the lads attention towards the TX to consider. I`m having a right old "love affair" shooting the T Rex topped with a Mamba 3-12x44 (.177 AA fields) atb Lol,I have the exact set up . Have you forgotten Davy ? You put me onto this scope combination with my T Rex mate. Your a busy lad , i know but thank you for the nudge as this combination is knocking everything over it gets pointed at, - it`s
  2. If we find any negative points, they will be address and to be honest we haven't. There is a slight ping as the hammer strikes the valve, which we picked up on when we picked them up,that is being addressed as we type, lol. The trigger could do with some attention, from factory settings, but then that's personal preference. Regarding that post, there is a lot more going on than he makes out,and not product fault but person fault, very inexpearianced air gunner,I could put it.but yes they did hold there hands up in sending out a .22 mag lol I do understand we as air gunners do get prob
  3. There not stainless ,lol they are parkerised ,if I have spelt it right, lol. But advertised as nickel plated, lol. Yes I know there not Davehhh They are indeed technically advertised as nickel plated however they are actually known as HW97K STL, and the STL actually means stainless. No idea why they were named that, as you have stated. Yeah think it's just the UK market that advertise Nickle plated, but Wierauch them selfs, don't actually say it's stainless steel. They quote: Fixed barrel system with muzzle break, in "stainless-look" finish, lol
  4. Like I said it's a marmite thing, your vermin isn't going to be bothered whether it's dispatched with a Gamo or a Daystate ,lol. And using H&NFTT they group very well. And VM there is a good reward,as one of the test rifles are going to be raffled of ,for our charity. But what you will see is honesty, and a decent review of the compatto's ability.
  5. It's pretty much what we would call a Wednesday rifle,or a Friday rifle, lol. But the sad thing is QC ,most of the manufacturers are slacking on this, going by what I have been hearing.

  11. Hi buddy Not to rule out the walther LGU/LGV,well underrated rifles and as accurate as HW & AA For the money, probably the best springer out of the box,if your budget can stretch to it. If you can get one second hand, then all the better for your pocket. Probably best to try before you buy,and do some homework, just as you have here to. Welcome buddy
  12. Hi guys & gals I Would like to wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS Ya filthy animals Lol
  13. Hi guys It's like marmite you will like it or hate it. They have changed the cocking slot on it,they no longer cock like an old ford cortina,up back down,it's simple now up and back, nice a smooth to. It has three power levels high 11.5/11.7 Medium 10.5/9.5 Low 6.5/5.5 And after testing it in the man cave yesterday,on the skan chronograph,120 shots all in the green, that's 12 mags, medium power is the same, low power is about 180 shots. Filled from 200 bar & shot down to 90 bar. It's threaded to take a silencer, but imo it don't need it,as the shroud dose a good job. The
  14. hi buddy if you think this rifle is heavy, then you definately are in the noodle arms club
  15. its not a heavy rifle at all,and its holding its own in group shooting and a bit of HFT to
  16. Hi buddy A bit close for me,did you weigh your pellets prior to the shot string? Going by experience AA they can vary from 15.1 to 16.2 . I would always shoot 30/40 shots into a safe backstop, then the rifle is warmed up,then shoot your shot string. And I would advise you to get them all the same weight,if a ten shot string weigh fifteen just in case of error. I think you might be pleasantly surprised if you done this again ,this way. I like my spring rifles to be around 10.5/10.8 ,less recoil and still plenty of power!
