Alright mate, all the above sounds right, on mine there was a open and shut grill on the bottom to collect the ash! im sure you have cleaned it and leave it in the open position, the baffle on the top leave that open to, sounds like there isnt enough air being pulled in through the fire itself ie: like above leave the window open give that a go, when we build houses we always make the chiminy 1.2 meters above the ridge or .6 of a meter below? a down draft will cause you big trouble and some work to the chimney will have to be done. my personal opinion is the stailess flue liner is good but won

I tried a few times to find some good border x lakeys! they seem to have died out round here, a mate of mine had a bitch called sprout' we had some good times with her but she died about 3 years old, she had one pup called sally who is about 10+ years now but is barron so he never carried her line on! shame because she is an out standind little thing full of heart and had a good brain.. interested in some more on this thread

Foxes are hard to catch in a cage! i found a big cage is better, set near to a hedge or in cover, put a crow ect and leave it well alone, only check it from a distance, let the grass grow up through the bottom to. Good luck.

That must be terrable! i think we all get a little down sometimes but mabe some people get it mixed up with depresion. I have just finnished a course on social care and one of the topics was on how people can suffer in from depresion and act as if there realy happy when realy the are quite the oppisite. I realy do hope you can get things sorted..
