If you are buying new kit to make them, get 1" mesh, not 2. The 2"mesh does allow access by small songbirds, and nasty accidents can occur.......

Isn't this a shooting site then? Take a good look. Add up the number of posts on the shooting sections of this forum, and then add up the total number of posts on the 'dog' sections. Subtract the 'crap' and then see what this site is really about......... It's called 'The Hunting Life', not the 'My dogs better than your dog' site. I think its a sad state of affairs, but there ye go. I still think the site would be better, and easier to moderate without the dog sections. JMHO.

Just to clarify: That is the OED definition of a forum. I'm not suggesting that the dog sections are bad, nor am I suggesting that they aren't important, just that they cause the most problems on THL. Nope. How do you define a 'dog man' anyway? Someone who keeps a dog? A MAN? Or something else? I consider myself a 'dogman' purely because I cannot imagine living without a dog; but then, I don't feel the need to measure my cock against the next man, so does that matter?
