I’m about 30 mins drive away from there , and they’re all the way back to Bath and beyond … bloody nuisance when they run out unexpectedly in some places , dog is mad for them.
They’re a bugger for getting caught in crates are dew claws … word to the wise .
Don’t feed em for at least 5 days and then constantly apply peanut butter to the said claw …, they soon gnaw it off
,and the foot as well occasionally
The wait till your on the floor with your shoulder into a hole trick …. Then you get backfilled … heard the old boys talk of it , thought it was a thing of the past .
I was paying £1500 a year for a single mooring in Bath marina around 2003 ish and a boat safety certificate was around £450 every 4 years . Permit to be on the water I think was around £240 a year
It’s gone up immensely over the last 15/ 20 years in price range , as have the amount of boats .. you can’t moor a “pleasure cruiser” like I used to … you have to live on it to justify the prices of mooring and maintenance . What does the 4 year safety check cost now ?
