Depressing isn't it ?, but it life's not too bad, got to focus on the good times ?

Housing will be the next problem, I'm waiting on selling my place abroad not so I can buy something here but so I can borrow enough to get a 25yr mortgage for somewhere half the size. I read bits about how single mum lived on nothing for ten years, now mortgage free, but how much have her kids gone without regards experiences and time as a family etc, it's a difficult balance, and unless you're left property you're a bit stuck if you want to buy something that isn't in a ghetto or deprived area, I've made my priority my kids , I want them to have stability and loads of life experience and tryi

They did force him, in the sense that he could have had it paid by the state, should only wealthy people go to uni? Should we not commend people whom are academic?

I was allowed thirty quid in tank today, lady asked in kiosk if I'd put £30 in as some had put less, I said I'd fill it if poss as I have to return to Devon from Birmingham she said just drive round again then love , lol . I'll probably try and top up again tomorrow.....

Hopefully they focus on barley and hops..... otherwise I'll be forced to bring forward still project?

Plenty of human waste, slurry, apparently not going to be exporting as much food because of Brexit maybe we can eat it... fertiliser production stopping due to gas and oil prices , thus causing the co2 shortage for slaughter and meat packing, I believe gov has stepped in to restart it, probably subsidised by tax payer?....

Let's face it I can't really think of a mainstream media outlet that supported Brexit, and the majority as stated by a psychologist on radio 4 have only added fuel to the fire of panic buying etc. If they wanted to help the country they'd have shown boring scenes of people filling up their cars and reported on the fact that there's no fuel shortage but a supply chain issue, so every bugger saw mile long queues and punch ups because the media love the dramatic story, self for filling prophecy, or not filling as the case may be...

Guardian news.....?

I didn't vote in the referendum based on supply chains or labour shortage, If this is the price to pay to get out of Brussels grasp then it's small change, I dare say things will get worse but let's face it remainers forecast the end of the world just holding a referendum, still don't respect the will of the people and democracy, buckle up I'm confident we can pull through, there's nothing to say it's not politically driven as said I think fuel companies should be penalised for lack of investment.

Lots of leaves came down last night, after the rain comes a sharp drop in temp here in the west feeling like autumn now....

Thats down to the individual garage, a small town I lived in during last fuel crisis limited it to £5 if you weren't medical or a regular. It all seems fairly straightforward, nobody wants to take responsibility, especially the gen pop.

Only place anyone could afford to fill an ibc ??

Politicians seem unable to grasp self sufficiency /reliance and the death of globalisation....

I can remember prebrexit them saying they'd be no abattoir vets as they were all Bulgarian Porto etc, so what happened there then? How long does it take to train as a tanker driver? Surely there's a good few in the pipeline, I saw a chap under training at a fuel garage about a month ago. The industry is responsible in my view, and should be penalised accordingly, maybe compulsory training scheme at a cost to board members for adversely affecting the economy in their incompetence......

No different to when living in Wales, get a snow flurry and milk and bread vapourised off the shelves, I think part of the problem is we generally lack preparedness , thankfully community around me has come together during covid. Obviously there's also the mob panic mentality, God knows what would happen if things went seriously wrong over a long period. As well as capitalism leading us to believe we can't survive without 100s of products...

He's got time to come up with a game plan, plenty come back to win a second fight. Watched a few videos of usyk , I think he's quite a character, not sure if AJ is strong as him mentally. He's got a strong work ethic , lot faster. Should be a better fight....

So is this a given and they get two purses out of a rematch. I've only read the fight not watched it yet, I'm watching Tyson holyfield on tube lol.

Inflation has a bit to do with it, when there is demand wages increase, many companies have based their model on a certain labour cost, that no longer exists to them, until wages go up it's not going to get better, I'd work locally and lots of jobs but you can earn more working on a checkout in lidls. People will have to pay more for food and fuel, it's going to be tough for many for a few years....house market has ground to a stop , no property on the market at the lower levels...

Obviously there's going to be a handover period of some difficult times when we've been so reliant on foreign labour and skills, should be plenty of good opportunities for Brits wanting to step up, hopefully they roll out a big apprenticeship program and some training grants, even if they allocated these temp visas , it doesn't mean there's going to be tanker drivers available that want a short term roll in a foreign country....
