I've seen pictures, it doesn't look like something to weld. What sort of pressure is this under ? Could the damaged face be machined or is it a scrapper?

A mate sent me this question, I've asked for pictures which I'll post when I get them. So is this a common fault , is it repairable , is there somewhere to source cheaper parts etc, thanks in advance.... Got a welding question Lad of work got has got a semi 12G and it’s got a small crack 3-5mm in the breach housing. Where the barrel meets the breach just above the cartridge trap door. Could this be welded, new part is around £900 guns only worth £1200??????

It's crazy the effect TV can have on the mind , I sat and watched jaws with my mum when I was about four , apparently told her don't worry it's only ketchup lol. But if I'm out in deep water or above weed beds I start getting sharks in my head lol, I had a couple of beers on a beach once and went for a cool down , I was bobbing around when a lilo tumbled past , anyways I'd swim towards it and it would tumble on blown by the wind. I turned around and could barely see the beach , and to top it off started imagining sharks below, that was a long fast swim, tbh cramp kills more people than sharks

My kids swim twice a week, took a while to find a decent place , eventually found a private school that does lessons as part of its charitable obligation. Kids enjoy it , I love being in the water, and have always swam, started going twice a week after work lane swims , only breast stroke in slow lane . I found it awkward everyone has a different pace but I felt better for it and went a dozen times, the sauna made it worthwhile , I like swimming in the sea and lakes , I'm thinking about some lessons , just want to be more confident and efficient in my front crawl . Good on anyone learning stuf

I wasn't being serious , it was a comical affair , we didn't get crisps , had the bar below ask for a bottle of tuica though lol....it was great to see folk from all walks of life coming together, I do enjoy keeping it simple seems easier for people to let their hair down, I've been to wedding with people buying £500 bottles and £50 a shot of whisky but it pressurised the event I feel , luckily my mate gave me a handful of bar tokens ??

Don't knock it , I got married in the valleys lol , we did the whole shebang for a grand that included venue DJ (free as he liked it) band , two dresses and a buffet and cake and photos , it was quality....well it was fun at least....and my mate got married in Disneyland no guest paid a 1k for pics and they wanted £800 for mini and Mickey to be there lol, another fella I worked with was still paying of wedding 9 years later and was divorced lol...

Getting a drive through coffee and they refuse to put sugar in it , and when asked why it's against policy, but all the others do it no questions. My gripe is if I've got to park up mess about with lids and stirrers I'll go in the garage and get a coffee. Bit first world problems but I find it annoying as they ain't cheap. And supermarkets with nobody on a til, I hate self service and it's always pinging and see member of staff etc. Like nobody has to provide a service anymore, god I've bored myself writing this, oh and tight feckers normally cost themselves more than they save , and blokes in

I sit around the back of cabins on break next to a river see a few wrens and got a robin visitor, black birds, cormorants, pigeon, buzzards, bit of a chill time.

Kids definitely put the stoppers on for me, along with life in general, but I've enjoyed them and they're getting to the age where I can start doing a bit with them, airguns and fishing for the time being and build on that as time goes, not sure I'd encourage lurcher work as it's a bit of heart ache but hopefully get them camping and hiking this summer, as said do as much as you can before kids come along if it's an option....

I didn't succeed out there , but chased a bit of stuff, the late busher would put up more pheasant on our mooches than the hunt but as he was gun-shy would not do much on the day, when I got in cover (UK style beating) they'd take the piss , seemed impressed when I shot a couple of bottles they threw for me, that was the skill test, language barrier was hard work, pest control days were bring an M16 looking rifle and achieve nothing. But land was endless and amazing, I had great walks on sunny minus tens, unfortunately spent most time working here in UK and not enough over there , tis past n

Romanian plains would be good for hare type dogs just outside of hunting season, deer too . I unfortunately didn't stay long enough to buy goat tags with a neighbour, so we could harvest deer lol....
