The chariot wheel story has been completely debunked Yes wheels have been found in the Red Sea and loads of other stuff. The Red Sea is and was a major traiding route and it’s littered with wrecks from ancient times up to present times . I lived for years within sight of the Red Sea, my missus got her PADI Masters there and my son got his PADI Instructor there. Mate , I really don’t want to go round in circles, and I can respect your scepticism, but if the ISS passes above the earth at a certain point and does one circumnavigation of the earth and gets back to that point , we know the circumference of the earth, the height of the ISS and the time it has taken so the maths to work out its speed isn’t to difficult. It’s all part of what’s known as “The Great Game” mate. Its been going on since the 1800’s, countries jostling for position and power. It started with Britain being worried about Russias designs on India, and the wars in Afghanistan over the years are mainly a result of it. The game has moved to Eastern Europe and Central Asia, same players and same objectives . I think it’s known as “Real Politik”. Cheers.

Isn’t it amazing that the Wright brothers first flew in 1903, for 20 seconds, and 70 years later an aircraft capable of carrying 400 people flew halfway round the world and man had walked on the moon ! Cheers.

I think it’s just a case of people finally getting sick of the legacy parties and wanting something different. Im honestly surprised Labour won, but looking at the vote share it was fairly close between Labour, SNP and Reform. The Tory’s are finished. I’m watching Kemi on tv right now trying you appear hard on illegal immigrants…. They had 14 years of doing nothing, who’s going to believe her now ? Cheers.

One of my few great regrets was I had the chance to see in new year in London, get on Concorde and fly to New York and see in the new year there but I didn’t take it. Now, I’m sure someone will say that’s impossible as you can’t go back in time and I’m not going to open that particular can of worms trying to explain it ! LOL ! Cheers.

So who or how should we be governed? I remember being in a debate about governance and I championed a “benevolent dictatorship “ , but with the proviso that benevolent dictators never stay benevolent once the get power; “ power corrupts, absolute power absolutely corrupts “! Churchills saying “ Democracy is the least bad of all other forms of government” springs to mind. I don’t have an answer , but we must ditch the legacy parties and give an insurgence party at least a try, and at the moment Reform are the only insurgence party whose policies broadly align with mine. You think Reform is a main party ? Granted Anderson has done the rounds but I think he has now found a home for his politics that Labour and the Tories couldn’t give him. There is no noticeable difference between the three main legacy parties, Lib/Lab/Con, so I personally would like to give an insurgent party, who have the same policies as mine a go . They may, quite probably , let me down, but we won’t know ‘till we try them….we know exactly what we’ll get by continually voting in the legacy parties……more of the same ! Just my own personal opinions, of course. Cheers.
