Chalk if your using the gun several times a week i would get a bottle but if your a weekend warrior like meself a stirrup pump will suffice :download: i keep my 410c around the 150-180 bar mark as i think its a bit more consitent

I thought it was natural for all animals to put weight on during winter time if its not affecting her work for you i wouldnt worry about it Better for her to be a healthy weight than to be a Posh spice

What sort of ground were you working to loose you fert have you taken any steps to try & recover it ie blocking in,setting a trap?Or has it slipped your eyesight & wandered away

Went up to Weardale this morning to ferret land we had,nt touched for a year.Last december we came away with 12 so we were very optomistic.The weather was good but not many rabbits to be seen on the fields .The first set we did took 15mins to get the first one next rabbit came from a 3 hole set & the 3rd came from a tree root set nightmare to net but worth the effort.Went back up to the cottage to do set in the garden nothing out of that but we did see a couple of rabbits with MYXI running away blind Anyway we had a good day & the young jills proved there getting better with each ou

Nice result from the pipe we used to ferret in the local gas work depot where they stockpiled plastic gas pipe used to get a couple each time, just sat there petrified waiting for the net & ferret

Had the MK1 when i was a teen mid ,s just got meself the MK3 used it 3 times up to now looks complicated but is quite simple to use in the field have a look at all of them if possible and decide what you would prefer to use....MK3 for me tho

Took my 2 jills on a proper outing at 7months old prior to that i had a couple of messing about sessions in & out holes,small unused sets just to get them used to locator collars,nets,etc.They stopped playing about soon as they made contact with their first rabbit they are now all grown up & serious should get them out this weekend for a bit of action...

Most of the ferret books are a good read,the ones i own near enough say the same things have a look on Ebay you can pick up some good bargains on there however Plummers book on ferrets might cost you a few ££...

Be careful what mainspring you put in the Meteor my first ever airgun was one bought it off a old chap don,t know what MK it was but it was older than me at the time.As a power mad teenager i put in a Ox spring when i eventually got the bl**dy thing in i could hardly cock it the trigger sear was solid when i did fire it on the second shot the stock disintergrated i don,t know if the standard spring will give you enough ft/lb for hunting but im sure the local gun shop will run it over a chrono for you when its up & running

Technically yes but they will only test it if you get caught poaching or doing something else to antagonize them. it may still be dieseling (burning oil left from manufacture in the barrel or chamber) as its so new. My advice would be put the rest of the tin of (500) pellets through it to settle it in then re chrono it. if its still over the limit and your worried about it take it back to the shop and ask them so sort it, they should do it for free and be very helpful as in the eyes of the law they sold you an illegal firearm so its their ass if you complain! AA S410 cracking gun lightweight,handles well in the field & is as accurate as you shoot it.My advice is try before you buy if possible because everyones different if it feels right for YOU then do it,there is some mint secondhand guns out there for not so much $$.Stirrup pumps are ok if you only shoot weekends like meself but if you shoot daily i would get a bottle Good luck MM......

COUGH,COUGH,SPLUTTER mammys little soldier has a good dose of MANFLU I,ve kept minimum contact with my 2 poleys the last couple of days as they can catch colds/influenza from us humans??Just asking for advice or has anybody been unfortunate enough to pass it on to their ferts in their experience.My 2 are only 8 months old so i,m a bit paraniod.ANY sympathy or offers of TLC greatly received especially from the LADIES

Bit vague there mate depends on your budget,type of shooting you want to do,scopes or iron sights,PCP or springer,single or multishot.Im not trying to come across as a smarta**e but there is a lot of choice out there...
