  1. Some pics my wife took of the dogs this weekend and a few unlucky coyotes. Got me 6 this weekend.
  2. Thats my old man in the pic, dotty. And them is called Wrangler blue jeens son. LOL!
  3. Oh ya, thats only number 5 this year. Been too busy workin to have much huntin done.
  4. I got out of here a little bit early last night. I went out and jumped the dogs in the back of the truck. After about an hour I seen we seen a yote. Dogs bailed with Cotton first and then Blue and Stitch bringin up the rear. He just cant get out the truck proper anymore. Anyhow, they were runnin against the corn stalks and gainin on the yote fast, Stitch took a spill out there a couple hundred yards but got up. The coyote new he was f****d and decided to run down the rows and cut to the left. Bad move, Cotton grabbed him and Blue throated him and then Stitch got there and they had him dead bef
  5. Pups are free 99% of the time. Grown dogs will cost you anywhere from $500 to you name it. You cant buy anybody's best dog 99% of the time but you can usually land a good un if you try.
  6. I think you can find them pretty much anywhere. I think they are a touch faster, with a touch more endurance. I think they fight twice as hard and are at least twice as tough to kill. I think a fox has more agility and ability to duck and dodge a dog.
  7. Where in Illinois do you run coyotes? The early pictures looked like they were much further West. Never hunted further East than Kansas myself. T! Pretty much all over the place, Mr. Tony. I've heard nothin but great things about you and your dogs by the way. I think them crossed on some of these stags would make some outstanding fox dogs. Shoot, they probably make it by themselves.
  8. I guess our stags are not killin machines Doc. LOL!
  9. I would breed to "Stitch" in a second. Dan and I live about 1500 or so miles apart so getting our dogs together is easier said than done. I do have a couple dogs I would be happy to raise pups out of if bred to "Reba" though Doc, right now, I cannot think of a better gyp that I have seen or heard of than Reba except maybe the Jinx bitch that my blue gyp is outa. I would love to do the Stitch x Reba thing but it may never happen cause of what you said but we WILL combine the blood somehow brother.
  10. Ya, I got pics of him. There might be a few on here. I think when the forum changed though that alot of the old posts and such with all my pics on it are gone. I would have to scan all the old pics and I dont have any camera right now except them throw aways. Too busy workin to even go get one.
  11. I was born into it. I was goin to the woods with my daddy when I was just 3 years old. Grew up around coon hounds, curs, racing field trial greyhounds, coyote hounds, and staghounds.
  12. Yes, I own a male dog that can take 9 out of 10 coyotes single handed. I have not seen him completely whipped off yet but I did see one close call out of I think 11 coyotes now that I have seen him take single handed so I know the one that will whip him off is right around the corner. The man that let me have him has seen him whipped off before though. I think he has around 60 yotes under him single handed, not really sure though. Doc, I dont care which one gets to her first but I do want at least one pup. Two would be nice, haha but its all up to you. I plan on gettin you some blo
  13. My favorite bitch that he owns and some desert pics and also some yote teeth.
  14. I'd like to see him over a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 deerhound someday if he makes the grade. Would be interesting I think.
  15. I like when they are about 6 foot away and they stomp on the branch and snort at ya Scott. Makes you feel like you are alive. LOL!
  16. One of my favorite pics of all time. Doc of course had quite a few dogs related to these curs here but I had a few related to them also. I had one good cur gyp related to these dogs and I used her to catch yotes during the day more like a foxhound though and tree coons at night.
  17. I'll throw up a couple of these big game type pics.
  18. Tailgate shot. Hey Scott, tell that chubby mexican on the right there that he's hot. LOL!
