  2. nice dog thare mate it looks a sold lump SHES FAT AT THE MOMENT BUT I'LL GIVE HER A FEW WEEKS ON THE RABBITS .......IT'LL FALL OFF how is she on rabbits she wont be the best on the turn is she av got an alaunt bitch when she trys to turn its like a cow trying to turn shes been catching since eight months by accident ,a terrier bushed one out the hedge ,she caught it. then mixi rabbits she was brinning them to me , i was just on a walk. i yhink the dog was trying to tell me something..........so i took her out on the lamp. missed loads but a few bunnies on a night out aint bad especial
  3. hows it going ross my dogs are get fat thay have not done much lately have you been out not bad scotty mate no done much over the festive period but weather depending get out the morra night. your dog pups a belter mate, good head on him, but took a wee shine to the bitch when i was down last week. looking good though.

  6. i well done to her her sis has been out a few times with the ferrets but still no there yet but will take time yours looks a bit thicker about the body what size is she now?? glad shes also better than last time spoke to you skys about 20 tts shes a ball hair short of 22 and a half tts mate, glad to hear shes doing well mate, how often you worming her mate? mines on a tab and a half of drontal every month, but then again the blue and tan bitch is them pups aunt and she's quite fine too.
  7. hopefully so lads! showing great promise so far, had her out watching the older bitch on the lamp, watches the beam and even pulls a bit when something moves. Hopefully get her out to watch a bit ferreting next weekend
  8. took pup to the fields up the back this afternoon to get a bit jumping practice in, she was away chasing my older bitch about when they went through a bit rough, the older bitch went through it and was out the other side the pup however took a bit longer and when she did she had a bunny in her mouth it she padded over to me proud as punch and after she decided to give it up i found it was still alive ( i thought she'd maybe found a dead one in the cover and brought it out) after i necked it i practiced a bit retrieving with it she didnt want to give it up at first but after 6-7 times she was g

  10. the first couple i slipped my bitch on she would grab hold anywhere, she got a few nips the face chest and front legs, then she started to use her head a little as she clearly didnt like getting bit. Now she nips them and stands them up, looks for an oppertunity for a throat grip, ive seen her face them off for quite a bit long enough for me to walk up, and yes sometimes i do put a boot in.
  11. im having the exact same problem with my pup, outside she'll pick it up, come back in my direction, run right past me, run round me a couple of times "then" she comes to me but refuses to let go!! need to try and nip it in the bud quick!

  13. Took a wee walk with my two bitches today never seen nowt although my bigger bitch was scenting up just a few photos (sorry for the quality used my other halfs camera!)
  14. i got offered a bit permission out that way to shoot rabbits, ballintyne nursery(tree nursery) thought should be decent! got out there and it was a shithole! more like a scrappys had a "look" on the estate next door and looked decent, wouldnt mind a look on there. if you had gone through the gates thats the clay ground theres lots of bunnies around ballentynes but your right wouldnt want to put a dog in there the estate manager and his "pals" get to shoot the estate 12500 acres wasted i cant even get on i did one night though........one run, filled the freezer for a bit...........we
  15. the drive back was fun! Glad I had the landrover! Actually stopped off at Deantown on way back and gave the field a quick shine to see if there were any hares. Saw about 8. not fancy a wee sly one? nathe fields were covered in snow. Like to think im a sportsman I will be back tho quite right mate, read about 2 numptys on another forum who thought it was "sport"

  20. They big ash bings at Broxburn hold a few bunnies mate and there's a few fields round about the bings that hold them too. ratho not too bad for stuff either, not to great for bunnies though. Used to lamp that golf course across from Ingilston many yrs ago it was teaming with rabbits back then not so many now tho mate travel down to hawick alot for a decent night out
