    Wild bacon

Get a catch dog and then in with the knife.
  2. I was thinking of getting a hybrid but sometimes we end up in places we've never been so would sooner have a mountain bike just incase the terrain is too much for a hybrid.
  3. I've got a Cube but don't get on with it, it's a Carbon frame so wonder if that's why I don't enjoy the ride.
  4. Yeah it will mainly be on smoothish trails tbh so looking at a hardtail, I've read that Calibre are decent bikes. On one site a Boardman has got voted best bike for under 1K but I'm sure you can't lock the forks off on the handlebars like some offer.
  5. I've read they are decent. I've got a Cube Reaction Pro Carbon, light as hell at 11.9kg but for some reason I don't enjoy the ride. I went on my mates Vodoo today and although it's a much cheaper bike it was much easier and smoother to ride to me.
  6. On the road and trails, will be after a hard tail.
  7. Yeah Penzance wasn't the best when I worked there, not much about tbh. I think we are looking in to St Ives, if you no anywhere near or any place better I'm all ears mate.
  8. I've got a very decent MB myself that I payed £1500 for a few years back but we don't get on, I'm going to sell that and will be looking for another. Any lads in to their biking on here and if so what's the best out there for about 1K, going to get one on the cycle to work scheme. I've read great reviews on the Boardman that's 1K.
  9. Good for you but not everybody has the money to get set up and running.
  10. Not all though and you would rather work for less doing private work?
  11. I worked in Penzance for a while about 10 years ago, that's the only time I've been down there.
  12. Is there any caravan resorts down there?
  13. Looks nice but don't think the in-laws would fancy camping tbh.
  14. Probably, we have to face the music at some point though. Have you been and if so what do you recommend? I've heard the traffic can get a nightmare when it's busy.
  15. Our summer holiday has been cancelled in Spain but hopefully some places will start to open up over here? If it's possible we are looking at going to Cornwall, I've only ever been down there once before and that was for work. What resorts do you recommend that's decent enough for kids and what's the best accommodation, caravan, cottage, etc?
  16. It's like this if you're a young brickie you would be crazy not to go on price work and earn as much as you can. The lads on our site are getting £200-£250 a day for about 6 hours work Mon-Thurs and 3-4 hours work Fri. Those wages still won't make you live like a millionaire, the price of living puts a stop to that.
  17. Where is the evidence for that? I played GTA when I was a teen, that didn't encourage me to rob or shoot people. This was done by some Irish lads, blaming entertainment is nothing but a cop out IMO. I agree with some of your points though, mass immigration without strict vetting is negligent bordering on criminal.
  18. I work on sites and it certainly isn't a myth buddy.

    ROC bunkers

Max got a bit carried away when he boasted that Hitler had invaded Sunderland and was driven out, he soon blushed when I told him it was the Sudetenland.
  21. Yep you need one, you can get them for about £3 off Tebay. ?
  22. From what I made of it the scrum master is a go between for the product owner and the development team? Seems easy enough, just make sure every ones happy and singing off the same hymn sheet. ?
