    I just believe if you're good enough you're big enough. If the right fighter comes a long he will compete with the big boys, Povetkin isn't a big HW and he didn't do too bad. If anything they have it easier nowadays because at least they have a division in between LHW and HW. Yes there are more big fighters at the top but I think that's because their ability has got better over they years. Just watch Primo Carnera, Fury is way more skilled that the pawing oaf.

    Exactly what I'm saying, it's no good having a game plug in cos you'll get nowhere.     But then on the other hand Stan if he wasn't so big and gangly he wouldn't look so cumbersome. You have to take the fighter for what he is and his physical attributes must be taken in to account. Of course him being so big and tall is a big part of his success but it still counts at the end of the day.

    Well obviously you haven't been looking hard enough. Are you trying to say the lads in the States are lying about the line still throwing game dogs? From what I've read the Colby's are very careful with who they deal with, in the area where they live there has been lots of raids taking place. By all accounts they have no mouth and no wind, game or not you won't get very far with no ability. The lads have admitted in their pure form they probably couldn't compete in the fast lane.

    Have you heard of the saying a "game plug." From what I've read they are still tested but seriously lack other qualities, out and out gameness just doesn't cut it these days. I think it's foolish to say that they can't be game bred just because they are not in fashion. I'd like to think the Colby's are still keeping the line going in more than just name.

    Apparently they are still out there over the pond, don't think they are competing at the highest level but I still thing they are bred right and tested. Even if the odd one was imported over here or Europe none have made any impact as far as I know. By buying one though you are owning a bit of history, the oldest line alive in the Bulldog world. It must be a honour to own one of those animals.

    Yep pal, we had those, Zebras, Bengalese, Canaries and UK finches. We had a Chaffinch that ended up bullying all the other birds, my dad took it to the woods to let it go and when he arrived back home the same bird was flying in the garden trying to get back in the aviary, must have been crossed with a pigeon. ?
