The coursing world mate, if pures were that much superior the linbred dogs wouldn't get a look in which we know hasn't been the case.

How can you say they weren't available when folk were putting greyhounds or lurchers over these pures, doesn't make sense. You don't just breed for the sake of it, like I said, you wouldn't put a pit pony over a thoroughbred. Adding greyhound or lurcher to the mix must have been a benefit for the dogs over here.

Like you say though, the coursing bred dogs must be better for our land or else the pures would dominate the scene.

But they were here though so don't understand why you would put them over lurchers or greyhound's if the pures were better and not lacking anything? If I bought a pure APBT I wouldn't just put any old dog over it if I was struggling to find something, I'd buy another APBT.

I know pures were there before but that doesn't mean a breed or type can't be improved mate. Western dogmen are probably the best in the world mate IMO.

Which always puzzles me on why pures haven't replaced the coursing bred dogs over here. It's a bit like a mongrel replacing the APBT as the king of fighting, just wouldn't happen. I think the dog men over here know their shit mate. ?

A fcuked back! ? I still think barring surgery the treatment for a herniated disc and piriformis syndrome is the same. The problem with a disc problem though is i should imagine you can cause even further damage if you don't get it seen to, piriformis is only an inflamed muscle pressing on the nerve.

He didn't match dogs mate, and truth be told most of his breedings were sold to pet homes as well. Hell a lot of the dogs that made it in to the box were done so by relative novices, the dogs still competed nevertheless, just shows the quality of the animals. Of course blood counts mate, you can't put something in if it isn't there in the first place. ?

Better off getting it seem to so you can fit a treatment plan around the condition. Tbh I hope mine is piriformis as it's easier to manage and with the right treatment can be cured, herniated discs are much harder to cure.

I can remember when my uncle used to have Jackdaws and they used to drive my grandfather wild as they used to nick his fags and lighters. "Am gunna break that bleeding birds neck!" They thought it had something wrong with it as it was making a funny coughing noise, it was just immitating the dogs barking. Woke up one morning to find the poor thing beheaded, his old, miserable Jack Russell got hold of the thing, funny that as the game Patterdale was as soft as a brush with him.

He was not a dog matcher mate, and not all of those dogs looked unfit. The results of some of his crosses though can't be denied fella, pet bulls couldn't make their name in the box.

I never went down the tablet route with any of my flare ups tbh and kinda did think the stretches worked. This is where I think a diagnosis is essential mind, I should really book myself in for a MRI scan but I don't believe I've got a slipped disc, there's another condition called piriformis syndrome which I believe causes my flare ups. Luckily for me I haven't had a bad flare up in quite a long time now, the odd little twinge mind but nothing as bad as before.
