  1. They'd be better off setting up a paragliding department and @king could be in charge, be a win-win for the police and the poacher.
  2. No chance if on foot at all, must find cover. ?
  3. Better for the poacher that IMO, a helicopter can just hover in one spot whereas a plane would have to keep circling you. Once that heat seeker is on you mind you will do well to get away. ?
  4. Kicks out a right pong that place, crab paste to be precise. ?
  5. What? ? I know it's not far from the airport but now they have bobby planes after lampers? ?
  6. I know mate, just reminiscing about days past where I had nobody to answer to and could get out often. ? There's good lad between Doncaster and your neck of the woods, we used to go lamping out near Caistor but ended up with the copter out on us, game over mate. ?
  7. I'd rather have nothing though tbh if that's how it would have to be.
  8. What's a giant Osprey doing stuck in that washing line?!?!
  9. Bull crosses and a collie cross for lurchers, done bits with the terriers as well. That's it for me, lost all the perm and it's the same here, plus the fact that I've got big bills to pay these days. Fcuk me it was hot last time we used to poach so i imagine now it's tenfold. I reckon I could get out and about though as some of the lads still go out but ATM just haven't got the time to bring a dog on.
  10. Tbf if anything I think an Akita would be a mixer and not a straight in catch dog, they used the original dogs to hunt bears in Japan but the American dogs are a releative modern creation. My Dad's last Akita was a lovely natured dog tbh but the first one he got in 94 was a danger to other male dogs. Mine so far has been so-so, he's showed a few bad signs when he's bumped in to dogs, best to just keep him on the lead. In a way I regret getting the big fur ball, should have just got a lurcher.
  11. I doubt it but who knows, they are dog dominant dogs but not sure how they are at hunting big game. What about the XL Bully, straight in no questions asked?
  12. Fcuk the rabbits, did you say Boar? You got permission like, up for it @keepdiggin
  13. Is there any clips of some of these Romeo or similar bred dogs?

    New mate

Some can be nasty twats, there was a bit of a craze for them around here in the early 90's. One used to attack folk on bikes riding past it's home, cracking bird aren't they. You can really see their intelligence, being called a bird brain ain't so bad after all. ?
  15. You got any on bulldogs and what not? ?
  16. A good one that isn't it, forget where I've got it from now as well. ?
  17. Are these Romeo dogs the most winningest dogs in the coursing world then nowadays what about machines like the Bulldozer?
  18. Heard he was eaten by a Sloth Bear, if not true he will correct me at some point.
  19. How have they compared to the Romeo dogs, just splitting hairs or are they different styles?
  20. Could you do it one armed with a Weihrauch using iron sights though?
  21. Thought I was cracking up then, so the breeding clicked then? Did he ever do a repeated mating?
  22. Is this the brother that MC is talking about? Thought it was a spit of your dog MC or is this another brother?
  23. Hasn't he had lurchers then or dogs capable of catching hares? What's their style like, up and at em or slowly, slowly catchy monkey? They look a fast type I'd say.
  24. Nice, how do the brothers compare? Bet there's a bit of competition when you're out walking the slop? ?
