  5. It's people like undismuppet who make people afraid to post threads! Everyone has to learn, i admit i'm new to all this and like to read posts like this, but then you always get people like this shooting their mouths off! you get this on every forum but at least it's just the odd one or two, I've noticed most people on this forum are happy to help. Pups looking good Tim keep up the good work.
  6. I'm pretty sure i read a review on this gun in the airgunners handbook available from Whsmiths! quite expensive though at £6.99 for an oversized magazine! But there is some good reading in there. If you only want to read the review just do it in the shop then it's free lol
  7. I'm fairly new to the sport of airrifles and hunting, I'm just wondering what the best quarry to hunt during this shitty weather? We've been out a few times on our permission now and all we've had is a crow? Theres definatley Rabbits and a few tree rats there as we've had a few in the past when it was nicer weather but since the wet crapy weathers been here there don't seem to be nothing out? We should have some permission for rats very soon would i be right in guessing that these like this weather. Any advice would be appreciated

I'm looking to buy a second gun and have been to look at a Air Arms tx200 which seemed like a really nice gun to hold just looks a bit potchy to load up? may get a pre charged as a second gun though! best thing to do is go along to a gun shop and have a look at a few and get a feel of what different guns are like to hold! good luck and hope you find the right gun soon.
  11. A few years ago my niece was in bed and we were all down stairs and could here her talking upstairs so my mother went up to check on her! she was only tiny in a cot and when my mum asked who she was talking to she said a name that used to be the old lady that died years before who lived next door! then a couple of months later my sis was in bed and woke to see someone leaning in the cot trying to pick the baby up! my sister thinking nothing of it as she lived with my mum at the time, then when she turned to look again there was no one there she then got out of bed to see who was just going t

  15. Very good post! Even though this thread has had some abusive posts on it i'm glad i started it because it's made me see things from a different point of view! I've loved birds of prey since i was a little boy, i've always been facinated by them and i'd heard of people poisoning them where i live but never actually spoke to any pigeon boys who'd admitted to doing it. That until i spoke to an old fella who was telling me about the wiping out of nests, which i have to be honest did shock me how openly he was talking about it. Anyway guys and gals keep up the good work in whatever you do whether i
  16. i guess pigeon fanciers are quite protective over their birds didn't want this to turn into a slateing match i was just shocked when the old fella was telling me about this and now i'm even more shocked that people agree with it? anyway i've enjoyed reading your views and i'm glad your so passionate about your sport i'm sure i would be if i grew up doing it! am not going to post on this subject again because i don't want to make enimies just from being interested in other peoples views (thats what i thought forums were about?) last thing on this post though is duckwing your new nickname can
  17. grow up it's a debate! do you think it's ok to wipe a nest of bop out?
  18. I can see the point that you pigeon boys are making and everyone is entitled to their own views! but the difference is a bop killing a pigeon is natural! a pigeon fancier killing a bop is not? I'm sure if i was brought up with pigeons i would feel the same but i wasn't so it's hard for me to see any thing good about them apart from food for bop or by the sounds of it targets for some on here
