Innotek without doubt When dog training on a professional basis I tried a few and they were quality, expensive but worth it. Although I very very rarely used one except in extreme circumstances, many folk buy one as a shortcut rather than put the effort in ive wanted to have one for a while, even though i dont need it at moment but id like to have it there just in case. I understand, i got mine back in 2000 and its been out of the box 3 times but its there if needed........

Using a collar takes impecible timing and 90% of the time is used incorrectly and makes things worse. Go back to basics and do ALL exercise on a lead, ONLY let the dog off in a small enclosed area. I CAN sort your recall but pm me if you want it sorted.

Difficult one and only you know the dog but I would of goneback to basics. Yesterday my 18mth old lurcher gave chase for 30 yards on a flock of jumpy sheep, I recalled him and praised him for the recall although I was very unhappy he even started a half hearted chase, I will now take him back to basics again BUT he has never taken a mouthfull of wool, down to personal preference and knowing your dog in the end, if you think its youthfull exuberance or serious prey drive?????????

I have a 12 month old terrier that wasn't docked as a pup, would it look better docked? Yes IMHO, would I dock it now???? No.............

Yes, I knew exactly what you meant Well pre ban I have dogs that would take them all BUT, specialise in one quarry. Its difficult to get a dog doing WELL on a regular basis on all IMO.......... And I don't mean 1 night out a week........

Well as your in County Durham you should get a beddie/grey as rabbits are the only legal quarry If you were in Ireland or another country where it doesn't matter then it would depend what mix of the above and what quarry you would lean towards as ALL ROUNDER is a VERY broad term and although many dogs will try and do well on a few species I don't think the true all rounder exists........... Dogs for jobs IMO
