  1. I was once driving a subaru legacy at 189mph(super charger bulit by me) across a stubble field after disabled squirrel when Christopher Biggin stepped out from behind a bush wearing a safari suit, due to my excellent driving (and lovemaking) skills i could of avoided him.........but i didn't

Suppose im one of the lucky ones then, practically on my doorstep, its rural where i live, but i like to get about, change of scenery and all that At my last house within two minutes i could be out the house and onto deer/fox/rabbit/hare/squirrel but is till travelled regularly as i think its does the hunter and dog good, i think its easy to get stuck in your own bubble, i know i did for many a year, when you travel on different ground, see other folks dogs and get out your comfort zone you see what sort of dog you really have heard yours are rhubarb lol lol lol only kidding old
  4. I was once driving my Bugatti Veyron through Paris when a man jumped onto the Champs Elysees trying to kill himself, being a great driver (and lover) i slammed on the brakes and helped the man, i took him for a beer and a plate of frites and frogs legs and that started my great friendship with the Hollywood actor Tom Hanks

  9. Its about getting out Johnny, its definately not about numbers for me BUT i think a few nights during the season at numbers does test the dog and give you an insight into its character and ability
  10. Amen to that, along with pikeylamper excellent couple of posts............
  11. Hey i own bull crosses but i actually do have a huge phallus and im handsome as fook, just im not breed blind, although i love a GOOD bull lurcher........
  12. Exactly, on my permission im happy with a couple of bunnies, to get numbers means a 4 hour round trip, ££££ on diesel and effort, trouble is most are quick to piss and moan and not put the effort in.........Although they can spend hours whinging about it on here............
  13. Steve Barton kept a few usefull gsd lurchers, Musket/Rooney etc and also did well in the chatsworth comps. Its a cross i think could be very usefull if the right blood was used, i made no secret i wish i had the room to breed a litter of first cross lurchers using my import who was P.T.S this year, i have his son who i may use to produce a litter one day, he pegs rabbits and pheasants regularly and i think would throw high prey pups with some levels of concentration, he is 7 now so we shall see. One of the drawbacks i think is that often the first cross pups are not also what is usually c
  14. Not very polite is it? I will refuse your kind offer to shut my face but will say this, instead of moaning like a girl, go out and get some land, travel if you have to...............like erm................yes like the rest of us...............
  15. I think they could dig up Parson Russell himself sometimes and it wouldn't matter, judges have a hard time BUT as has been mentioned sometimes the class has already been won with the person handling it in the ring (i never show dogs so not sour grapes). The Midland is so far removed for lurchers and terriers they may well have had the ring a mile down the road. The terrier and lurcher side of things have been pushed further from the "main areas" of the show more and more, i told this to Ian Harford, as have many other members but he doesn't want to listen, hes making his mint so why care abo
  16. Some stunning little cages around.........
  17. About 10 years ago had a nice spot of permission until a local cnutbag went to see the farmer and offered him cash for the sole rights to the permission, of course the greedy farmer jumped at the chance and me and a couple of mates lost out, this bellend had shit dogs and lots of money...but no friends, cant think why.............
  18. In my humble opinion if you are new to lurchers a cross like this is definately not for you............
  19. If you have no land or quarry and can't travel fella, why you asking for a bull cross thats already entered?
  20. I saw these dogs at the midland yesterday, trigger were you the fella with the dog or little fella with the bitch? They look big strong dogs, i will be the first to admit when i first read about this cross i winced, im not a fan of husky types and found them pretty intractable and thought they would make a lurcher that would be hard work and untrainable, a mate has spoken to some of the lads working them and they sound impressive so perhaps my first thoughts were wrong. Must admit i'll stick with what i know and im happy enough but perhaps IN THE RIGHT HANDS this will be a very usefull cross
  21. If the windows are open i cant lick them.........
  22. Great minds think alike........and so do ours
  23. Normal business will resume soon enough And does the coach have air con?
  24. This can only be answered by you knowing the dog. For me and my last pup, that would of been too much, im in no rush, BUT for your pup that may be fine
