a friend dug to a litter of collie x corgis one of the farmers dogs had got over one of his bitchs and she must of whelped in the ground -
check out deputydogs pups , he got a male left last time i spoke to him .. you wont go far wrong with one of them .. seen the bitch work a few times and she is the dogs

my dog will work daytime, ferreting . working with terriers. hunting up and knocking over the odd hare he works the lamp and i can shoot over him but i wouldnt class him as an allrounder , imo there aint many dogs out there what could be classed as an allrounder

yes but theres a big differance in a working dog being part of the family and a family dog being a worker ..

a working bred spaniel not given enough work will be ten times worse than any terrier imo id get her a wee pot licker and keep working dogs for working

yes ive worked a springer trained to the gun alongside my lurchers but i wouldnt let it work with the lurchers till its trained as a gun dog first and i wouldnt at anytime let it run with the terrier , it will just encourage the springer to run in and maybe give tongue while out shooting

Here in Northern Ireland , every other household as a lurcher , you get some boys all they will hunt is fox come winter but during the summer they hit the rabbits like hell. I would say NI as the highest rate of lurchers per square foot of land
