    aye cody it is tough , your day will come, 2 good dogs you got , i know the judge , he keeps rough coated deerhound x's, but a sound judge of a dog, as for the black dogs always winning ???, cant comment , but black smooth coated dogs absolutely gleam in the sunshine, where the rough coated ones dont giving an advantage imho to the smooths, it shows off the defining muscles, again just my oppinion----den

    cheers davie, hes coming along great , i thought the racing went well , ok i won i ran it , blowing my own trumpet for a change , lol the lads who run the dog show getting some stick i see , but theyre really profesional at what they do , well done lads, yes a bit pricey for a dog show , but what can they do , theyre only running it for the fair, to all the winners well done , the losers , better luck next time, and to those that ran dogs for the very first time , stick at it , your dogs will eventually get the hang of it.-----den

    it was ok ??? it's slowly been getting worse , personally i think it'll be overtaken (in terms of a big dog show)very shortly , by the uplands working dogs, there committee trying like mad to re-invent the biggest working dog show in the north east-------watch this space .

    yes sounds a great idea , but the main area not big enough for large dogs, not enough run off, however we do the best we can , look forward to see you there , come watch the racing on sunday from 11.00

    i've ran whippet classes at hawick and scot champs for 8 years now,

    If a few whippets turn up let us know on the day we can put a class on no bother. Colm I contacted a female about 6 weeks ago, had a look on my emails but cant find it, she had something to do with the Lurcher show, the answer she gave me was no whippet classes, My whippet pup is Five Months I couldn't even enter him in a puppy class..maybe in the future if you want to better the show, you could have a whippet class and whippet racing, if Lowther can do, why not you. joe , i'll be helping organise the racing , all dogs run against each other , no size or breed classes

    i give up---- wakes up this morning to get ready for lowther, took dogs out and notices ronnie limping, checked him over , hes got a little strain on his tricept muscle, the same one he hurt before shanes castle :wallbash: , why is it the slower dogs never get injuries, it really gets to you , i was looking forward to the racing again today

Peoples dispensary for sick animals, they have it in Northern Ireland, you may be eligable for reduced veterinary treatment, not a dig at the situation, horrible thing to happen, seen it myself dont no 2 be honest. the bitch was loved i no that for sure.but she was a working dog and she would have never worked again. sad as it is, nature has a very funny way of sorting things out, my own pup , ok only 12 weeks, broke his front leg, both bones , but he's now a strong beautiful animal , that has amazed me, maybe it was the right decicion maybe not , bu

    mine nearly 15 months now and only just getting let on game, i always start mine at this age, they stopped growing and are physically strong and mentally strong , good luck with the pup , good looker too , but if it were mine now it'd be left to grow and mature. it's a hard life being a running dog , dont cut short it's life by being stupid -------den
