    One old keeper used 5 gallon drums. He would cut one end. Put some hinged mesh a squirrel could get through and put a fen trap in it with some grain.

    This wasn't so much back up the shoot but more like on the land next to my old shoot that the new keeper was so miserable so I came off but shoot next door shoot! Swell guy, sends me birds every season to sneak up on. Cheers you miserable.......

    The Russian Tula I was using this morning is super full choked in both barrels. It has some reach!

    Well sitting in worrying about a job was not an option to I braved the weather to collect some groceries. The squirrel and later pigeon have been placed as a snack for my latest Charlie friend. Got home damp, the rain had gotten through the Barbour. Stavs gloves were a God send?

    I got a message from an informant about a fox barking so went and took a look. Sure enough I found it and it's normal! Ignored my torches. Came in to the squeak, thought I was on but then the wind swirled around me and that was that ? I'll be back!

    No but I can see them there hills and when I saw the slabs of rock etc. And I thought I noticed a funny smell on that date too! ? Yes sir. Pattern wins everytime. 1/2&1/2 but no tighter if possible!

    Absolutely. The other three wheeler as you put it meece was also in fine fettle. Never seen one with a front leg missing!
