  1. Well i understand all that Whin, But dogs have diffrent styles ya noise i'll agree with you on that 100%, Can be abit hot and a bit of a pain if she dont change hold, But ill lucky enough like i say she;ll change hold if she gets a struggler so wheres the problem? End result meat for the table And all this jog on sh!t get a grip you tit you come across as a decent fellah on here dont start with all that shit comeing a cross like its only you that does a little ....!! Enjoy your sport and dont keep putting a downers on others hence the dale thread...!!
  2. Anit too good with spiders/creepy crawlys not a fear just not good with um,
  3. Whats so unthinkable of a hock holder Whin? Iv got a bitch (Just too say say not collie bred) here and thats her thing 99% she'll hock anything to bring it down from charlie upwards, And then move to the top end most of the time but not all the time she would keep hold of the hock (apart from charlie), She has never had a broken jaw ect and its not like this bitch has just seen a few know what i mean....?

  6. Dont really mind the colour aslong long as there off decent workers, When i look back iv had more better workers that were white or light than i have poleys
  7. Some people make people happy where ever they go, Other people make people happy when they go...
  8. Likes been said, See it fukc dogs up retreving right which i cant ad bare is a non retrevier, Seen too many jackers run that would jack in a second when run alone but would run doubled up (As i said like too know what iv got or not in some cases), Hate anything that is caught pulled too bits/bruiesed up that is barely worth ferret food, And thats not inclueding the risk factor involed, Much easyer if they run solo IMHO
  9. Read it again you tit..!! Iv edited for you you simpleton....
  10. Jo i told you last night when we were out, The reasons i dont run doulbed up is dont see the point in it, Its not like were trying too fill a quota for the game dealer ect, I like seeing one dog on its quarry but thats just my way like too know what iam holding on the other side of the slip, Ya you'll get more ect but i anit after bragging rights you know that, When we run its slip for slip dog gets a breather inbetween so we can run more over the course of the night, If we run ours doubled up there both doing all the running and so burn quicker over the course of the night ,Dog get us
  11. Thats what id do bone man, Never mind normal vets they'll take your money and still not be none the wiser IMHO, Get a greyhound man too look over her and take it from there
  12. In the middle of a deal at the minute, If it falls throw ill let yous know...
  13. Great night there Moll and co... Hopefully that Boo sorted now, But iv seen it before with my mate dog he was simalar, Wouldnt run anything too close to the hedge or ones that he thought he wouldnt catch you''d slip him he'd run 10 ft and stop dead an watch the rabbit run too cover, He was the same after the summer easy off start back like that was all behind him but soon resulted back too his old ways after a few weeks on the lamp when the keenness drop off, He did finally give up/jacked call it what you want (But my mate does say too this day that it was his fault) It was his first
  14. You could just teach us all too train our dog to Watch your feet while they run 3Turns  ,
  15. Wanted smaller lamp, Straight Swap for a standerd striker for a cluelite/blazerlite (preferable with red swivel filter).. Just lamps no batterys ect Intrested drop me a PM

Your all mental... Ill admit we could do with another Mod or two for the good of the site but come on, PLEASE
  17. i would agree ith the above. but would add that the faster dogs cant look at the ground i run my dog on. they gain in pace but lose on durability. a good first cross is bred to work all terrain all weather. Total agree fellah, But where i am in the midlands big open land with thin hedges need a dog with a decent turn of foot and seen the them lack slightly here like you say diffrenet terrain suit diffrent X's
  18. my dh x gh has alott of pace too mutch in some cases he is just out and out speed at time Hence why i said (Not talking about longdog firstxs), If you know what that means
  19. The ones iv see where abit cloody and lacked pace for my sort of work, But were near enough (Iam not talking about longdog firstx's here ), Seen a first x collie never seen a better dog round nets ect and was a decent lamping dog on rabbits but like lacked a bit of pace for what id say is alround work
  20. Striker is the best alround lamp iv used lance abit too small and blitz is a bit too big and clumbersome.. I use a 12v 18amp battery with mine.. But if money was no issue id have a striker variable and a lightweight 20amp lithium battery but then i anit that lucky yet
  21. Well a lurcher is just provieding his role if he can keep his self and owner in meat week in week out, Anit hard really (depending on how many you got) ,
  22. Ya he's raw gutsy to a point, But does anyone really and i mean really see this lad sitting at the top... Honestly...Decent fighter but world class?
