  3. Dirty basterds thats what they are... !!!! Wish you atb Brookie mate too getting them all back too where they belong.......
  4. Id go for a whippty type with a splash of collie fellah , Or a really good Collie/Gh, The thing about having that splash of collie (well the ones iv see) they have a bit more concentration patience when things are slow no bolts ect they seem to be hold up when others x's get board of standing looking at the mouth of holes or sat at the other side of the hedge in a stay watching that side for you ect, But thats JMO people look for diffrent things in a ferreting dog you might just be after a point and slip type ect.. A straight whippet takes some beating at ferreting also,
  5. What a fcuking stuiped thing to say, Have you seen any other x's work eigther than bullxs..? This was my point when i posted earlyer its great to have a dog thats great round cover both day an night, But theres a diffrence between a dog knowing what its doing a round cover and one thats just got tunnel vision on its quarry and will hit ANYTHING that will get injuryed more than it goes out, If your impressed by your bullx's hitting cover with grit and determaination, Try getting out with an ex racer cause if your impressed with things hitting cover after quarry you'll have a liitle o
  6. And where did the dog lend up after you had him fellah...?
  7. Well thank fcuk that an other tit out this game.... Buyer should read your ''Find Content'' bit in your profile nothing but selling and buying and trying for things thats free...
  8. , Thats the plain and simple of it,
  9. A lot depends on the dog thats running,if youv,e got a dog with speed and a good strike i would expect % to be caught before they get anywhere near the hedge, but it don,t really matter where they catch em as long as they do Na mine is just shit fella thats all :D , If it anit hitting of a fence or a hedge my fcuker anit catching it
  10. There a diffrence between a reckless dog hitting cover, And a dogs thats good around cover IMHO. I love a dog too be good around cover both day and night hate seeing dogs pulling up 10/15yrds before the hedge. Dont know about anyone eles but most of my catchs/Runs iv see % get caught at the last second on the hedge so it does help the catch rate
  11. Ill swap my Striker housing fella for your Blitz and ill cover the P&P... Drop me a PM fella
  12. All i do is change there diet slightly, And up the work rate, Trot them beside the car for a bout 5mile at diffrent paces short hard runs then slower pace ect about 2/3 a week, And a quick mooch over the feilds having a few runs ect where i live my dogs never need to be on a lead so are always free running no matter what iam doing, And sunday too us is nothing but a big mooch start out midday and back in when its dark... But only way too get them sharp is to get them behind a few So of the times some of yous are out is strange, You either dont work have kids or are single cause all
  13. Iam from Northamptonshire, And ill keep my ears and eyes open here, a bitch like that will be very easy spotted... The sooner these scum get there come upence the better..!!
  14. Even with all the fancey pic's that could be put up, Heres my bitch done 69 last night out of runs and a few other knocked over, How easy would it be too ferret 3/4 of that nip round in the car and shoot out the window with my little .22 rifle banging over a few hares and have an hour on the lamp than stand the dog in front of all the catch and say heres the catch from a couple of hours lamping get my drift.... Believe nothing what you hear and half of what you see
  15. Whats that saying, Theres a short cut to everything in life, Bar expericence
  16. I wish i could bring a few back depending on quarry id run, But also i wish i knew what i know now with some of the youngester i had when i was younger, Wasted a few real good promising saplings through inexperence heavly on my part that got past on without being give half a chance when i look back,

  20. No thats the best way C/G......... Atb T 7
  21. Sould make a great alround potfiller C/G... Hope she gets a decent working home sorted asap
  22. You can have a bit of variety in a litter size, coat, build ect, from some lurcher to lurcher mateings , Then you get lines that throw very typey dogs with the desiered traits you after, The reasons why i tend too stick to lurcher to lurcher type they suit me and what i do, Seen halfxs and most were very cloody lacked gears and that extra top end gear, 3/4 breds the although had speed gears ect seems very injury prone, could lack stamina, bent like a boat ect and ''i'' dont get on with very greyhoundy dogs, (And just before everyone says anything iam on about the ones iv seen first hand w
  23. Iam with Moll here always feed mine last thing at night be i go bed cause you just never know whats happening, I dont feed anything other than that feed, Then after lamping i just give them a decent meal and bed them down... The way iv always done and woked for me so anit changed it
