    a had a pure bred grew( shes my avatar pic) an to the uninitiated she had the lot!!!speed to burn plenty of drive game as anything etc etc...but she took about 2 mile to turn once she was in full flight sometimes, came when called (if she felt like it)had the most annoying habit of trembling like a big stupid jelly if another dog she didnt know came near her then trying to rip the other dogs head off..for some reason she hated coppers!!! used to go fu*"in bonkers if she seen one an loved watchin fireworks!!!!!! hahahaha a do miss havin her around though..

    av decided to go for a bitch of the scott,OSW type !!! not until this summer though ....anywhere between £500-£1000..been quoted..a cant wait !!!! thanks again guys for all the replies...some nice pictures as well lads !!!!!!! cheers..chris

    thank you so much to everybody who replied !!!!!!!!!! i've already been in touch with a reputable breeder who breeds scotts ,osw type bulldogs ...but again guys thank you so much for the replies... your all a credit to your dogs ..thanks again chris...

    am 33 year old an got 2 sons who are 2 1/2 an 9 weeks old. got a wee lurcher whos 3 year old an mustard wi other dogs an wi kids..av been brought up wi staffys all ma days, but really fancy getting an american bulldog...for different reasons which a wont go into now !!! anybody had experience of these dogs ???? thanks for any replies in advance....chris....

    a had a pure bred grew for just over 5 year an while she nipped a few rabbits she was pretty much useless as a hunting dog !! but a stuck wi her an she was in better condition than most lurchers av seen !!! she was my big lassie an a stuck wi her cos a loved her an wanted to repay her loyalty to me by being a good master to her an giving her the best of everything !!!!! although useless for hunting she fu "*in tried her heart out !! an a couldnt ask for anymore from her !!!! RIP big GB.....

    mine said the same !!! an we've now been together 13 years !!! she now loves it when a go out with the dog as she gets peace an quite to watch eastenders an all that other rubbish that i moan about hahaha

    try him with a rabbit skin..just to get him used to the feeling of it in his mouth..or its maybe just a case of persevering with him as you said hes still only young.differernt dogs come along at different stages but all the best with him ..cheers chris..

    coppers up my way are are starting to take mobile phones off lads to check pictures an videos as a lot of lads will capture the dogs on their phones ... so beware lads !!!

    Welcome back mate and good luck with new dog! thanks mate .... always stuck wi the hunting although the net has been the last thing av had time for!! ma oldest boy is 2 an a half an av started to take him hunting with me..he f"%*in loves it!!! told his nursrey teacher that sonny "our lurcher" catches bunny rabbits..while they were at a petting zoo!!!hahaha thats ma boy!!!

    not read this yet .. but hope santa will deliver a copy !! had world of the workin terrier for years an loved it.. also purchased a book called"hard workers the real terriers" written by a genuine guy called daniele piacentini.. crackin book lots of info an a really good intrview section at the end with different terriermen including mr harcombe who also wrote the foreword to the book!!! highly recommend it...anybody read it ??? cheers chris....

    sorry to anybody who has tried to contact me but av been away from the net for far too long !! ANOTHER new baby a new dog , been trainin him etc etc.. a got rid of my big greyhound a had for 5 years ! took a bite at my oldest boy whose now 2 1/2 ! totally gutted about it ! but shit happens ! you live an learn ! ma boy is ok apart from a wee mark on his forehead . a felt totally betrayed by her , after takin her from an abusive owner an givin her a good life she did that ! felt she let me down big time!!! but onwards an upwards av got a wee lurcher who is brilliant with my boys an a crac

    hope it all works out for you an the dog..my greyhound bitch is now becoming quite injury prone(only 5 years of age ) an i've just found out she has the onset of athritis in one of her front wrist joints as well....but my wee lurcher is only young an still rarin to go..i'll just keep the hound for special occasions now i think

    a guy a work with had a beardiexgreyXborder colliexgrey years ago off hancock an it was a superb dog on hare's...regularly took them an with a bit of style as well..also done deer with it but for some reason it was just suited to old long ears..so much so that when its talked about its simply referred to as the legend!!!! thanks chris....

    turns out the people i got my young dog from were a wee bit economical with the truth(lying bast*ards) so what do the good folk of THL think he could be made up of???? definately saluki in there but what else?? cheers chris... sorry about the pics being sideways a took them on my phone

    I'm not shooting anybody down or bitching, oh forget it. Anybody with an ounce of sense knows that this place is monitored by more than one group with an agenda opposite to our own, I just wish people would use some sense, god knows how many people up & down the country get heat put on them because of threads like this. These threads not only educate the likes of you, but also other people. Who's to say that you want the infomation for reasons other than your own? You could be anybody, after all... fu*k the groups who are monitoring this site.. cheers chris
