    one in the kitchen one in the hall just outside the kitchen..she wandered into the kitchen as he was eating an he bared his teeth for a second an she just stood there an he went back to eating..both still givin it the big ZZZZZZZZ just now though..

    cheers the greyhound is real easy goin around other dogs an didnt even bat an eye at it but a think its something worth watching but other than that both of them have got on great havin previously only met for around half an hour..there both lying sleepin in the living room as i type this.

    to anybody who read my previous post you will know a was getting in a new dog..got him home today an so far everything has been great,he fell asleep in the car on the way home then decided to have a pee in my garden..took him an the greyhound out an let them off for a run about(playin fields)an everything went good..(she has him for sheer accelaration though)..got home an fed them an although he bared his teeth for a second at the bitch who did nothing..they were quite happy but a think am goin to need to keep an eye on them around food..anybody had this happen with dogs an food before???? che

    i know what ye mean mate... mines a track dog and she is comin on nicely now but her retrievin and her jumping is non existant.. her running style is exciting or at least i find it so but she over runs a hell of alot... if your gettin an ex track dog then you will probably have to put up with alot of hardships at the start... mine used to run for the horizon as soon as i took my hand off her but i invested in a shock collar and it made miracles happen sounds like my greyhound your talking about... :11:

    got a greyhound myself ...but outta the blue av been offered a young lurcher whos just started to catch rabbits, had a look at him an let him an my dog off to have a sniff about an both were really relaxed an happy in each others company..(wife has aggreed ) people who have him basically cant be f*"%ed wi the hassle of havin a dog ..the guy says hes a salukixwhippetXwhippetxgreyhound, the dog is about 23"-24"tts quite slim an lacking any hard packed muscle(lack of execise) an a year old..anybody had this type tell me what to expect(size,temperament etc etc) ...sorry dont have any pics..any i

    well done mate a was there an thought it was a crackin day..good turn out,good laugh an most of all some really nice dogs as well(lurcher and terrier)...you one of the boys that had the saluki crosses??? cheers chris

    yeah it was a good laugh..spoke to a few lads wi there dogs an everybody was brand new..some nice saluki an bull crosses there as well as a decent we mix of lurchers ..a ended up goin down myself cos my mate called off last minute...but still a crackin day..cheers chris

    am just this minute back in from attending the kelvin valley show in ayr...just wondering if anybody from this sight went to it, a thought there were some great lookin dogs on show today(lurchers and terriers)..just wanted to know your thoughts if you were there ,cheers chris....

    where do you get your info tote??? my greyhound has the ear mark eup4 an a cant find info on her either....she is silver in colour an a think the name inkerman was in her "real" name...cheers Try here,- http://www.ngrc.org.uk/ Give them a ring,they should be able to help. Silver, has someone painted her. Seriously,what colour is she mate? yeah a went to town on her wi a can of spray paint.. she is a blue wi a dash of brindle ..cheers
