I wouldn't want a big Asian water monitor grabbing me that's for sure,when they upset its time to move ,I see a fella get chased by one when he getting it out a transport box and took 3 big lads to stop it .

I had asian water monitor ,got him as a baby "size of me thumb " and eating crickets but soon grew to 5 feet and taking rabbits and chickens, I let him go to reptile house as they had a female who had lost her mate ,I got a pal that lives in Africa and runs reptile rescue and he said he gets several calls a week of dog owners who call him asking for him to come out and remove rock monitors from dogs face as they got jaws like a vice ,but big water monitor eat a medium size dog easy .

They normally have two colours on them ,one in pic had a black stripe on its belly and dark ones will have a light stripe on its belly same colour as one in pic . I have seen any other colours in this area .

Mackem I was clearing a garden today and came across several slow worms . Great to see them doing well in this area ,adders are waking up and normaly get them on the meadow at bottom of me garden .

I'd put money on it they isn't no pure romani familes left in UK, years ago the old true romani only married other romani but that went to the wall long time ago and all traveling family's have at some point married out side there own kind , Like you say they could be many reasons why some are dark skinned .

The old romani came from India hundreds of years ago qnd yes that's why they have dark skin ,but a lot of travelling families are Irish descendent but class themselves as romani, The pavve people was here in Britain well before the romani came to UK

Like been said probably washed kennel down with it but haven't washed it down anufe and put dogs back in kennel before it dried .

A lass who lived up the Rd from me had a staff bitch and she was a lovely thing great with kids but when she had to be pts at 16 Yr they went qnd got a rescue english bull terrier ,I've kept ebt and no they can be difficult and tried telling her they not like staffs they stubborn fcukers and don't have same temperament qs staff bull or the brains and in no way would I have a rescue adult etb around my kids , Well 4 months down the Rd it attacked her 6 Yr old son and dragged him around by his head ,the boy nearly died and needed several major ops , It came out that the dogs last owne

It's about time the government looked after its own people and fcuk the rest of the world . And you karnt just blame tories as Labour ruined the UK for years we need a government that puts British people first not at the bottom of the pile British people shouldn't be without work they shouldn't be without heating ,food ,roof above there heads hospital treatment and list goes on and on . Yes she was in a terrible state and she'd been wrapping herself round a ceramic heat lamp with just bit of chicken wire round it for a guard ,took few months to heal but she came right in the end .

Did you move it ? Me and the misses used to take in rescues and had 18 ft reticulated python come in full of burns so we treated her with manuka honey aloe Vera for burns and she was skinny so built her back up on rabbits and chickens ,pheasants .she never struck at us even though she was in pain and hungry unlike rat snakes and amazon boa,s I've kept that bite for fun ? anyway she made full recovery and then went down Kent to a reptile house at a animal park . I used to love catching grass snakes and adders as a kid ,take them home keep them few weeks then release them ,I've kept few snakes over the yrs and even started to be mentored to keep venomous types but family life put stop to that ,I like the fast Asian rat snakes as they got attitude ,
