    Think I’ll give the clay ground a visit. Just been looking and it’s about £75 with tuition. I can only use my left eye as I have a blur in my right. When reading reviews on Shotguns there is always someone saying “ it’s excellent” then another says “ don’t buy one stay away.... blah, blah!!” But like you say it’s all about personal preference and what feels right. Some people get snobbish. To me if I point , pull the trigger, it goes bang and the thing I’m pointing at drops dead that’ll do for me?

    Hi Fellas, Ive been looking to purchase my first shotgun and it’s a bloody mind field to be honest. Im after an O/U, ejector, Multi choke, with 28” barrels. Don’t really want to pay through the nose for one quite yet with it being my first and wanting to see how I get on with it. My concern is that I’m right handed but left eye dominant. When I use a rifle with iron sights I have to sit at a bench and use it left handed. So I’m thinking I will have to train myself to shoot left handed with a shotgun?     Thought I’d have an hour or so up the stables tonight, glad I did. Just creeping towards the stable and spotted my first of the night on the path. As I crept up he started heading towards the paddock, I crept under the fence and there he was sitting nicely minding his own business munching and then........... bang one down. Just as I scanned the field there was number two, a good 75 yards and again...... bang, down goes number 2. Two in 10 minutes of arriving.     Good read Walshie. Certainly sounds like you’ve had a good few nights. Not many people get the chance to sit and bag that many in 10 minutes.

    True, was think on the CZ before I heard about the Tikka and the price of the Tikka, think I’ll stick to the trusty old CZ. Got the 22 and it’s never let me down so far. Also if it does go wrong the parts are ready available.

    Got to love freeAds, Primos tripod trigger stick Gen 2 came with additional 2 rest add on up for £100 got it for £60, only been used a handful of times?.

    Totally agree Stav, if they say the release date was April/May that’s when they should be here. Hope my RFD gets them first? Bleeding yanks!! Always think they’re the most important of all countries??

    Basically what the RFD said, due to the huge quantities ordered/ bought in America they get things first, then we are given the left overs, then have to wait till more are produced.

    I still like my CZ 455 .22 at the moment, i was going to get a CZ in 17 hmr but thought I’d get the tikka after reading and watching the reviews. Think it maybe a while till a lefty comes out judging the length of time it’s taking for the right hander to come over here
