Hes doing you proud mate hopefully next season I should be in a place where I'm able to take up another bird
  2. My mate uses his with hawks to find hares , I've never realy seen it as cheating in this sense as if it's raining you can walk round with a hawk on your fist soaking wet , so driving round sporting a hare in seat allows you to atleast half half a chance of getting a slip on it , however it also comes in handy if your in a wood that you shouldn't be and you think someone coming after you you can have a quick look and see if anyone's coming and then avoid them accordingly
  3. There decent bit kit , if you have the money to spend on 1 they do come in real handy , like say , bit of a kick in c**t if you get it confiscated tho, sure is is the hik owl 35 ,
  4. I paid 1300 for my pulsar and my mate bought a hik for 1000 I thought his was better , my other mate bout a hik for 2500 that thing was amazing , I stood out side a wood and looked through it and the phesants lit up like xmass lights in the trees from a fair distance away, was picking up tiny birds deep in Holly bushes etc , it was even showing the heat on the branches where a phesant had been roosting after it flew off , amazing bit of kit but ....if you get caught somewhere your not ment to be its a lot of money to loose ..well it is to me anyway because I'm a tight fecker lol
  5. I do personally, I've used acouple diffrnet pulsars and I actually like the look and the feel of the pulsars more than the hik but that's a out it realy ..for function I'd go with the hik
  6. To be fair all the hiks I've seen have been decent bits of kit
  7. Mine must been broke then because it was shit , and it' was shot through winter just as it was on summer
  8. That's a lot of emogies for 1 paragraph lol
  9. Yes , there better for finding ground stuff than in trees I found, I sold mine as I had mine for finding phesants at night but to behonest they weren't that good for that due to phesants nor letting off much heat at night , my mate has 1 wich he paid 2500 for but its a hik owl I think ....that thing is next level amazing, ypu get what you pay for

  16. Chances are there no one near you, better off trying Facebook, but be careful who you listen to , most people can't fly a kite ... Harris hawks are very forgiving and are relatively easy to fly so some people by in a mafe bird and think there the best thing since sliced bread ,find somone who had flown acouole of birds and preferably somone who have flown birds that they have taken up out of aviary at 16 week plus and flown for acouole years , anyone can by in a well manner already made harris hawk and think there a good falconer but when they get a bird fresh from the aviary or it comes to f
  17. Friend of mine had a pup out 3/4 saluki 1/4 grey over a full bull , was a decent dog decent build good stamina , gut big of guts and most of all listened to what it was fecking told ...I'd give a full saluki over a full bull a chance if a decent litter come up
  18. Strange but not un herd of , I had a dog out of a 3/4 bull 1/4 greyhound my mate had a bitch both 23/24 " , a lad who had the brother made 27 /28 " tts bull used was 23" that dog (27/28 ") was then put to a full grey most the pups made 24 and above bar 1 pup that made 23 " ... strange things happen when using dogs of very diffrent heights
  19. Spaniel pup bought on propperly will catch in cover , my botch does with birds and rabbits , some people don't like spaniels catching in cover but I like it

  21. We're you happy with the quality of them ? Where they solid or flimsy, mine were something you'd expect of that chines wish warehouse lol
  22. Not sure on the heavy-duty ones but the ones I bought are the mk6 and the ones my mate gave me are mk6 identical made just alot sturdier and seemed better build quality
  23. It's more the quality than the price ,I had some befof from fourteen acre , they were real fenns but they were real flimsy , I had two off my mate who had them off a site he thinks was called trapping man ??? and they were alot more sturdier snd well built
  24. Best place buy some mk6 fenns from please ..
  25. No my mum and my dad do , they both race separate ( funny when my mum beats my old man ) grown up all my life round racing pigeons , I've never raced but kept homers for training pointing dogs , I will end up racing them tho at some point it's inevitable I just don't have the time space or money to do it , it's sn expensive hobby depending on what size scale you do it at
