    U can’t put a number on how many digs another mans dog should have. It Depends on there working style. Whoever owns the dog will know how they work and will know how much he can and would like to get out of it in the season. U can only dig them when there fit to be dug.

    Tough going today, first dig of the season for me to a second season bitch. Done very well in a big spot. Tried a couple nothing at home, decided we would try one more before we headed home. Dropped her and she was on quickly. Got a mark in the middle of 10 foot high briars under neath a fallen ivy tree. Took a good while to get in and get the place cleared. It was only about a metre so we Started to dig in the lashing rain and hit layers of shingle rock. Could only chip a layer out with the graft and scoop out the loose stuff. Broke through about 2 hrs later . Back to my mates house for dinne

    Lots of shite up on that old country blood page. A mate of mine sent in pics of two wheaten x’s and he used the pics no problem , then the dogs both useless and he used his pics without asking a two years on gloating about the dogs and wouldn’t take them down. There’s pics of ‘strong dogs’ on it that wouldn’t pull the socks off a dead man. All he wants is Kerry blues??

    Anyways of getting pups to stop crying while there in the kennel. Started first light again this morning, tried having them in with an older dog, no use.

    If You can get karron oil in the local agri supplies , i find it v good. Puts great shine on dogs coats , it’s also has added vitamins and minerals

    I feed Fresh beef tripe with a good quality low protein nut, just for a bit of fiber and bits that they don’t get from the meat. Throw sardines in oil (not brine) every few day too. Just what I give others will be different

    I might aswell say it Your posts on here look very suspicious. All you post about is looking for dogs. I hope I’m wrong and your best interests lie with hunting and dogs .
