    I’m in that part of the country to. Rabbits are near gone ? pockets of them here and there but wouldn’t justify keeping a rabbiting dog that’s for sure.

    Calm down petal were all friends here in the working dog section. I didn’t ask for you to hop on this thread and start spouting shite.... you only dig when the weather permits. Then on a Monday night you go with the rifle and then a bit of cover hunting on a Sunday is it ? You don’t know what you like doing yet you slate others for doing what they love. You only hunt for what you eat?!? What’s for dinner Tomorow mate fox curry is it.

    One thing I really recommend to anyone is a roof over the runs. Amazing the difference it’s makes. Not hard do either. I roofed this myself over the summer on my own and sheeted few weeks after when I gathered the money. Hardest part about it was not getting blown away carrying the sheets and lifting them up on my own lol. Still need to get facets and down pipes put up.

    One lad round here that does be on the rifle started telling me how dogs are the height of cruelty. Not a lot said about the fox that is clipped and dies from infection...

    Was out lastnight. Done a massive area. Started off in a particular area that I have a good bit of permission in but I know is hammered with the rifle by the lads I was on about before. I seen three all three of which were lamp shy. I was out from 8ish to half two and I seen no more than 10 foxs. On the way home I came across a live fox in a snare at the side of the main road in plain sight. I hope it was checked very early or there could be a photograph in the local newspaper, a lot of people would have seen it on the way to work where it was?
