Does Anyone Else Shoot An Smk Xs20 - Need A Little Reassurance
stecorr replied to Andy83's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I gave away a x19 recently to a mate as he's saving up for a pcp. Its a cracking little gun, had quite a few ferals with it to 30 yards. Obviously build quality was suspect but its genuinely decent for the price -
Lovely looking rifle mate, is that a rowan butt pad on it??

my oldest lad still has a perm at talycafn which isnt to far away. prettiest looking place in the country. Would love to move back but married a cockney bird and she says its too far north.....
-
there lots of pheasants around there lad...not that I've ever poached any mind you ahem.....
-
spent 20 years shooting around that neck of the woods. Loads of corvids and bunnies around there. Enjoy it

i hate living in a city. Nice shooting by the way...

got some H&N's in 5.53. These are bit tight in my 22 so pm us your address and I'll stick a hundred in the post so you can give them a crack. They are dead accurate but you can feel it.

Never met the lad but his youtube channel was one of the reasons I got back into airguns. Good response from him and doubt he's arsed about the daily mail tbf. On that note, bit ironic of the mail toadying to the anti's who are left wing by and large but then its always been a crap paper...

unfortunately we somehow managed to take the odd one inadvertently in the conwy valley . Hang em for about 4 days in the shed and they make a great pie filling

Lads, ta for the advice. Bought the 95 and love it. Going to polish and fettle over the next couple of the weeks. yes it does kick like a mule in comparison to my ps but thats only to be expected.....but I'm pretty confident I can tune it up. If I can do the same job on it as I did my ps then I'm very happy

Well I went to the club yesterday and one of the members had hos master pro. Got chatting, as you do and asked if I could have a shot or two due to my impending delivery (due saturday) and he was fine with that. Now I knew it was a bit of a hefty beast but I dint realise just how hefty. It shoots like a dream but I cannot reconcile the weight of the rifle as it weighs more than my prosport. I realise its technically superior to almost anything on the market springer wise but I'd wrongly assumed that with its anti vibration system, it could of cut out a bit of heft. I couldnt do it so cancelle

Cheers lads, I will get pics up once it arrives. I'll get a 95 one day I promise........
-
Well lads, the decision has been made, much as I wanted to get the 95. I cant, I have to get the walther. Order placed, will be here next week
-
God dammit..... I would like the LG but its complicated to strip and polish judging by the diagrams, but I would be a fool to not shoot it before discounting it. They havent got one in Woodys of wembley so will have to ask around the gun club to see if theres one knocking about.
-
Thats it, Im getting the 95 and using the extra cash to put towards a tbt kit and scope.....
-
Cheers for all the advice lads really appreciate it. I can get either for around the 3 ton mark from sporting guns but I really fancy fettling it myself so wary of the complexity of the walther. Also I know umarex are pretty crap customer service even in comparison to hull cartridge.... I've already shouldered the 95 and must admit to getting a twitch, so I guess I'll have to shoulder the lgv to see if I get the same reaction. Pics and regrets to follow. ps mark, damn straight, that cnc'ing would keep me awake at night

chaps, looking to get a 177 and whittled down on to the hw95k or the master pro. I've seen how good the master is out of the box but it was a bit such a great experience tuning my ps that I fancies a rifle i can mess with. any opinions??
