  1. I was seriously slipping yesterday with regards to getting a second hand PCP to add to the collection(for what its worth ) but then re-read this post on the commute to work this morning.......god dammit, its such an evocative read that I've gone full circle again and reset my sites on a 97kt blackline...which I've just found a second hand unit in Essex guns for £275.00. Now if I can just persuade the mrs that I really do need an additional rifle, I'll be laughing. cracking read and thread in general
  2. I don't have a chrony and have probably put less than 500 mixed pellets through my 22ps. What power do you guys reckon it should be shooting at?
  3. Pro sport in .22. I sent the first one back as it had a damaged stock and the chaps at air arms put this striped one on. Laquer is a bit heavy but what a stock for beech couple of do-er uppers, smk 19 but remarkably accurate and an old meteor which I'm going to do up for the kids.
  4. https://grabcad.com/library/tag/rifle?page=6&time=all_time&sort=recent thousand of files here. Im pretty sure a decent programmer could manipulate one of these to make a pretty amazing left handed stock......coincidentally I run a pretty big joinery workshop so will ask the lads on monday. Probably a few hours to program then about 4-5 hours on the 5 axis.Pity we dont carry any decent woods as we make sets for tv etc. coinidentally our head of the model shop freelances for H&K and other weapon manufacturers on occasion designing synthetic stocks so will ask him if he has any i
  5. cheers lads, you've all made me feel very welcome. Have to say, I've been scouting a lot of forums since the bug re-bit and this place definitely has the most informed users. Plus some of the banter is hilarious
  6. You could always try and get a copy of the dwg file. All you need then is a programmer that can convert it to mastercam, delcam or similar then 5axis cnc it... Hmm there's money to be made there you know
  7. Sorry been browsing and made a post without introducing myself. Learnt my trade on Conwy Mountain and the Great and Little Ormes in North Wales but hung up my guns(sold them all) and fostered the ferrets to a good home in the mid 90's as I moved to the smoke and realised shooting would be at best, once in a blue moon. I was a bit of a fanatic, with Weihrauchs, FWKB's and a tuned to buggery webley omega(I loved that gun even more than my HW77). Also flirted with TX's and Diana 52's. The last year, a pal of mine had a little SMK going very cheap so knowing I had a ready made 12m indoor ran
  8. Funny thread...love it. Only comment I'm going to make is that I find my prosport a little fussy on heavier pellets but apart from that its superb, easily the best I've ever owned and I've had loads from FWKB's and weirauchs to webleys and BSA's. Rollover was a bit sharp at first but once I got my head around the loading of the rifle, its not an issue any longer. Have to say though, that pic does look as if the stocks unfinished which is perhaps a bonus. Mines only a few months old in beech and its a deep reddish brown. By the way, I'll be a etching and spraying the cocking leaver
