the landowner went back down yesterday and a spiker came out just as he went to shoot it and shot rang out in the next field,deer did one.then just does n fawns came to the bait. he didnt get his deer boss went up into the forestry,didnt see a damn thing all day.

@mackem here is a big mulie buck my mate seen this morning on the side of the road. i think we are going to put in for a draw tag next year and hopefully get drawn

just butchered up the deer and pig. loads of fat on the deer to be fair,nice size buck.filleted out the backstraps separated the legs muscles out for roasts. one shoulder was battered from the shot, so cut around and trimmed off both shoulders.16lbs of meat just dropped off at the butchers for some honey garlic beer sticks. wild boar.......well the 308 wasnt kind on it.both shoulders just fckd lol back legs were just over my hand size so kept them whole,filleted out the back straps also. just waiting now for a coyote trapper to head over to coll

Things just went crazy ok sat here all day again from 10am hawfrost all over the place,rolling fog. hunkered up again in the blind. nothing until 3.40pm i seen a deer.poke the rifle up and bingo,finally a buck shows up. deer season ends sunday evening so me is getting anxious. buck strolls straight to the bait,broadside,slip off safety and sent it. dropped like a stone.then me propane tank runs dry.good job pack me schit up in the blind,walk back to get my truck. drive down,hook the tow rope onto it, jump into the truck and four little piggie

yes seen that its quite a common practice for the frenchys to come over this way and do that. there was another fella not far from had been doing it for over 10 years and just got caught.

Well 4hrs in and no deer just bloody magpies all toasty in the blind and warming up my egg sandwiches oh as i type a doe rocks up just when i need to pee

We are live again mate finished work 1am and headed down and baited. He seen the big buck we have had on cam every now and then. blind set uo egg sandwiches heater on ( used my brain this time) -6c and -12c with wind chill here for the day. got down here just before 8am, caught one truck hunter already trespassing, he now knows olde english sun rise is NOW

well things are somewhat better now she hasnt chewed nothing for a while apart from one cats head lol had her nearly a year and she is coming on fine.she really doesnt like any other dog,cat,squirrel, coyote ( she can hear them yipping) and her eyesight and nose are amazing for picking up the scent of hares around town here the patterdale still fights like fck with it. Rather hilarious at times i will post up some pics and maybe a short vid give us a few days ? here you go mate missus squashed between dog and cat

went back down sunday bad mistake somewhat jaded from the night before alcohol comsumption. -16c outside with windchill -22c.froze me nut sack off,felt pretty ill sunday night. i got down there 12.30pm and tapped out 4pm.just seen does n fawns. just back from the forestry.the sparky in work hasnt hunted.so i offered to take him. boss let us go early,got to blind 2pm. -9c windchill -15c. big storm forecasted for tonight and tomorrow. bait has been hammered.looking promising. ran thru the do's and donts.bullet placement etc etc 4.15pm a doe sta
